The Pilot is BACK!!! This is a tasteful redesign inside and out, aside from the floating infotainment screen (would’ve been perfect if it was integrated into the dash, but no big deal for most).
Love the Raiti's Rides videos! As far as this vehicle, I like the look more than ever. I like that they stayed with a regular gas engine. It looks simple and classic yet clean and modern. It's a Honda so you already know it's well built. Good review for a good-looking vehicle!
Great video, but did I miss where you showed the third row space? Looks like you skipped second row to the cargo space?Just wondering what the third row space is like?
Amazing work to bring this to us right off the press! Love the interior, I personally would have liked to see the "honeycomb" ventilation transfer over to this model.
Joe and Lori ALWAYS have the newest car content first! Been waiting for this one. This looks great tbh I agree with the only zonk being the fake exhausts. Was cracking up when you brought up the candy cigarettes 😂
Legendary review as usual. Keep up the good work. Really love this car . Looks like the most reliable, most practical and most beautiful non luxury 3 row SUV out there. I love the fact that one is not forced to get the 7 seat for the top trim unlike other brands that force the captain’s chair on everyone for the top trim The Zonk for me are - The fake exhaust -The fact that the infotainment screen is a 9 inch and not a 12 inch . Not sure why a smaller Accord has a 12 inch infotainment and not this beautiful car.
i actually liked the one before the redesign for some reason, not that the new one isn’t great looking, but something about the old one made me love the exterior styling especially in black edition trim
This Pilot looks better than the previous generation. The dark blue exterior is very beautiful. Tail light design is neat and smooth. The powerplant and drivetrain sounds great. The interior looks great. Honda did a wonderful job with the Pilot. Thanks for the review and of course Lori with the muscle behind the camera 👍👍
I LOVE your silly comments -- they crack me up every time. You do a great job. But please do something about the camera when you transition from a bright outside to the dark insides of the car -- can't clearly see all the nooks of the car. There was also an editing error where you didn't show the 3rd row seat. But overall, keep up the great work. You are my one stop when I want to know about a certain car.
I'm impressed with the updated tech. It's about time Honda added ventilated seats, all LED lights, HUD, front facing camera and fully digital display. I was concerned that Honda was falling behind the competition with their outdated tech in the 2023 CR-V reveal. If I had to guess, I think this will be priced around 50k. I'm looking forward to the 2023 passport.
Very nice review as always! Loved the design of the Pilot finally. Would love to hear more on the infotainment system, as I noticed that the top elite trim probably does not have a subwoofer. Also, the part on the third row space is missing , which would expect to see in the future reviews. Cheers!!
I feel like we need to start testing Raiti's storage space claims. The Iguana may be hard to come by but this is for science! 😂 but for real great work to you both and love the reviews
I am excited to see some of the other trims. I think this new Pilot is looking a lot better than gen3 stuff, but exterior trims are at least 4 different colors just on this one Elite (chrome, gloss black, brushed nickel or satin, and of course the matte plastic... oh and some grey plastic too). I get that high impact areas need the matte plastic, but otherwise chose a material and make it cohesive!

I actually like the look of this Honda Pilot! Loving this color also… kinda looks purple! Joe you have now peeked my interest in this vehicle…☺️ Thank you Joe and Lori for all you do in delivering all the wonderful vehicle content! I appreciate you both!!! Blessings 🥰❤🙏🏾
No power assisted hood? Small infotainment system, Curious on the MPG.
OH NO, HOW DOES THE THIRD ROW FEEL? That part was left out.....HALP!!! lol
Hi Raiti, did you record sitting in the third row? I can’t see it on this video?
I was really pleasantly surprised with this. Wasn’t sure if I liked the styling and I’m thinking of upgrading to a new Acura MDX, but this might be worth looking into as well. I currently have an Acura RDX and have brand loyalty because I love the way Acura’s drive. Looking forward to your video of the driving experience!
It should drive the same since they are both Honda’s.
@@copytan2395 right!!
MDX is nice !
@@copytan2395 It should, but they are built different and Acura’s just drive more sporty.
@@copytan2395 As an owner of a 2022 Acura MDX Advance and a 2019 Honda Pilot Elite, they drive nothing alike, both are excellent vehicles but are noticeably different in handling and softness of ride.
Didn’t see you climb into the third row. Is it still tight like previous model? Thought it might be larger because of the longer wheel base but not sure now.
Thanks Joe and Lori! You both are a great team! I love how Joe thinks of storing food items, LOL! 😂 Love the blue on this one and the extra space! I love Honda kept the V6! ❤

There is no way a Turbo 4 banger would elbe effective with a vehicle this size and have any type of engine longevity.
What happened to the third row review? I have a ‘21 Pilot and the third row is only comfortable for around town. Please review!
I have a second review coming so please stay tuned Amy!
Great job, Joe and Lori! I love the direction Honda is going with the CR-V, Passport, and Pilot. I'm sure they're going to sell a ton of them.
I appreciate you Phil!
Thanks for tuning in.

Great video, but did I miss where you showed the third row space? Looks like you skipped second row to the cargo space?Just wondering what the third row space is like?
I love how he says “lets go jump into the third row” and never does 😂🤣😂 now you know it has to be very uncomfortable back there for him to skip it
What's space for sitting in 3rd row? How many teether anchors are in second and third row? Is there ceiling vents in 2nd or 3rd row?
Stay tuned Nicole for my second review on the Pilot!
Amazing work to bring this to us right off the press! Love the interior, I personally would have liked to see the "honeycomb" ventilation transfer over to this model.
I am so glad that I was able to bring it to you Chris!
Will the Elite trim no longer have a rear entertainment system (DVD player)?? 😢😢
Joe and Lori ALWAYS have the newest car content first! Been waiting for this one. This looks great tbh I agree with the only zonk being the fake exhausts. Was cracking up when you brought up the candy cigarettes 😂
Thanks for letting me bring it all to you Sean!
Thanks Joe I now know which trim I'm getting next. Saw the Trailsport review. Now this one is it! Great job by you and Lori! 👏🏽👏🏽
This will be my dream SUV! Nice job Joe.
You have no taste
Kirby Studios Long Beach, CA?
Legendary review as usual.
Keep up the good work.
Really love this car .
Looks like the most reliable, most practical and most beautiful non luxury 3 row SUV out there.
I love the fact that one is not forced to get the 7 seat for the top trim unlike other brands that force the captain’s chair on everyone for the top trim
The Zonk for me are
- The fake exhaust
-The fact that the infotainment screen is a 9 inch and not a 12 inch . Not sure why a smaller Accord has a 12 inch infotainment and not this beautiful car.
What happened to the 3rd row review. It seems to be missing from the video?
i actually liked the one before the redesign for some reason, not that the new one isn’t great looking, but something about the old one made me love the exterior styling especially in black edition trim
Everyone will have their favorites
The "old" one looks like a lifted minivan.
@@mattspeer01 i think it’s the appeal of the black edition for me
@@RaitisRides agreed!
@@zhila5958 The Black Edition is very nice.
Did you guys cut footage of Joe checking out the 3rd row seating? Goes from 2nd row to him checking out the trunk/storage space.
Thanks Bryan for letting us share it with you!
Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it!
Stay tuned because I will be bringing it all to you!
When to expect that redesigned Passport? This is nice but no dual exhaust. Honda u messed up there
Ventilated seats isn’t a new feature for the Pilot, also, it’s not all LED, rear turn signal is still incandescent bulb.
@@blackwhirlwind1245 Boo!!
What do you think ? Which is the better telluride 2023 vs pilot 2023 ? It looks redesign, But interior is not change lot. Please any your opinion!
Very nice review as always! Loved the design of the Pilot finally. Would love to hear more on the infotainment system, as I noticed that the top elite trim probably does not have a subwoofer. Also, the part on the third row space is missing , which would expect to see in the future reviews. Cheers!!
I didn't see you talk about the spare tire does it have one for the 23
I feel like we need to start testing Raiti's storage space claims. The Iguana may be hard to come by but this is for science! 😂 but for real great work to you both and love the reviews
I need to have an iguana on stand by next time!
@@RaitisRides yes please😂 probably will need to get it a press pass too! Chanel mascot
I was just telling my wife I want to see someone fully stock a vehicle Raiti style!
Can you fold the mid row completely to make it flat as the 3rd row??
Yes you can.
@@RaitisRides awesome. Thanks for the swift response 🙂
I will be bringing the Trail Sport tomorrow.
@@RaitisRides I finally today had time to finish watching this full review and I must say I love it! Your sense of humor is great and, to top it all off, now I know where to put my annoying pet iguana. Cheers mate!
New engine for 2023 matched with a new transmission, no thank you. I’ll wait until 2024 model. Honda has consistently had issues with every new model when new engine & always electrical problems. I like the new style, but I’ll Wait until the first year bugs are solved.
Quick question. Why didn't u show the 3rd row seating?
On throttle here we go!!
Let’s do this!
I like how you explained every time i watched your car vlog. I don’t need to go to dealership to ask those features , i just watch you in you tube. Lots of car vlogger are there but to much boring in how they explained. But you hand off i love listening always how you explained detailed by detailed thank you raiti 🎉
Compared to the features, not even close to Hyundai Palisade.
I think you may be right
Nah
Wait a min, did it skip the section on the 3rd row?
Stay tuned for Part 2 tomorrow.
Everyone is trying to catch up to the Telluride.
Big time!
Is the part for the third row missed in the video by mistake?
I'm not impressed, Joe. I gotta say it, but the Korean twins already makes the new 2023 Honda Pilot looks outdated in seconds! It looks like the 2022 Subaru Ascent had a drunken affair with an old 2012 Ford Explorer and made this.
I can totally understand where you are coming from!
Sir, you are explaining the Honda pilot beautifully. Your presentation is amazing.
Not gonna lie this new Honda Pilot looks good but I still prefer the Toyota Highlander over all. I look forward to see how Toyota will clap back with the Grand Highlander
Thanks, I've recently started watching your videos and must say I have become big fan!! Great content. I was wondering, how did it feel in 3rd row space wise compared to Telluride/Palisade?
the tech is boring, and I am not impressed at all for what will be about $53000; I have the palisade, a much better buy; I owned a 2021 and 2022 honda pilot SE and Limited and traded them in for a Hyundai.
How are you liking it thus far? Did you add a hitch to your 2023 Palisade?
Is the removable center seat only available on the elite trim?
What's the cargo space behind 1st and 2nd row?
joe can you fit on the third row? can load 8 people?
Yes & Yes
Thank you again joe and lori for another first look, I really like the new redesign, But joe didn't JONKED the Propt rod @ 9:26. So Powertrain 5 more HP Same lb-tb, Also is a 10 speed vs 9 from previous gen. Interior; Same infotainment from civic spreading all over their suv line up, i am surprise it went all the way to the pilot. Love the panoramic sun roof and the removable middle seat.
Can someone explain the purpose of the fake exhaust tips? Why not just route the pipes through there?
How to turn on trunk tail lights ? My pilot 2023 exl doesn’t turn on.
That is interesting.
@@RaitisRides Looks like the exl doesn’t have that portion light up for some reason. I would hate Honda for doing it as it is a safety concern.
Joe, Does this have a rear-view mirror that is a LED screen?
