I don't own a boat, never owned a boat and probably will never own a boat but for some reason these videos are so damn addicting. Crazy how much he knows about these motors
The editing of your videos is really undermentioned. Very little fluff; all quality cuts. Glad to see you're still producing them. Your personality and knowledge set you apart from the rest of the garbage on TH-cam. Much appreciated!
I've been doing outboards for over 30 years and what you watching is an accurate display of outboard repair but beware sometimes in the short demos things look a lot easier than they turn out to be
Really helpful mate, interestingly the majority of repairers turn out to be simple. Thanks for putting your knowledge out, you always keep it simply. I recently did my 3 carbs saving myself labour cost. Carb kits were $120.00 for the 3 and I was quoted $325.00 all up. So I saved $ 205. Aus dollars from watching you. Awesome
For the evinrude that needs an impeller try Crowlie Marine. They usually have all the parts for old omc engines, but their shipping is very slow. Nice video

Honestly I love this channel. As a new boater but old fisherman I’ve always been and always will be a surf caster. But want to explore boat fishing and you’ve inspired me to take on a project and make it my own. Keep ‘em coming 👍💪
I had a 6hp 2stroke 93 Suzuki sit for 4 years in my basement, I’d been watching your videos for a while now so I decided why not get this one going for the summer so I pulled it out the basement, fixed our tender for the sailboat, and all I had to do was clean the carb and put new gas, thanks to your videos it was a breeze lol! I would have paid for it to be done if it wasn’t for you! Keep it up
I like to know what type of oil you use when you have to add it to the motors. Also it be cool to see you diagnose more broken engines without knowing what’s wrong with it. Really helps me and I bet others learn so much! Great videos!
I would love to learn how to fix motors like you. I have sailed my entire life and I always struggle with outboard motors that either wont start or have issues running smoothly. Your channel is a good source of knowledge
Hey, I'm from Brazil and I have a Mercury 40hp 2 stroke. Since I started to watch your videos I learned so much about outboards motors. I'm enjoying a lot your channel.
Those 4 stroke Mercs make me appreciate my 1996 Mercury 30hp Sea Pro 2 stroke. Nice and basic with a carb and no computer. I'm keeping my 2 cycle engine forever.
I’m jealous that you can find all of these motors. Where I’m located everything, including non runners are crazy expensive and half don’t have titles which you need in SC.

Love this idea, most of the time when I work on projects it takes me forever and there's always a couple of tools I gotta buy to make things easier. By the end of the project I could do a second in half the time.
Awesome stuff. You know your stuff. Would love to see more junk boat rehabs. Like the one with the grass growing the back. lol . You have performed some miracles. More of those please! Lots of boats sitting in yards out there.

No clue why this popped in my algo, but I'm in! You are magic my friend. I don't own a boat, but I do own a motorcycle, lawnmower and it amazes me how people never start with the carb.
Wish I could fix my 2 outboards, but I can't get parts across the border. But you're the reason I can fix my own outboards, you show how it's done with no frills or boring commentary :)
Amazing level of knowledge. I have very little experience working on engines but I'm looking to buy a cruising sailboat. This is a good way to get familiar with things that commonly go wrong on outboards.

Ok, I will admit I'm late for the party! But this video was very educational. I'm currently looking for a jon boat and small tiller engine (9.9, 15, or 25HP). I had worked for 2 evinrude dealers Back in the 1980s the early model 9.9 and 15 s had a smaller water tube i think it was 5/16 anyway you had to pull the power head off To get to the end of the tube the grommet at the end of the tube swelled up causing a small volume of water to come into the engine making it overheat.
