- The Stawamus Chief is one of the largest granite monoliths in the world, located near the town of Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. It has three main peaks, separated by deep gullies, the highest peak rises 700 m (2,300 ft) above the nearby Howe Sound. The Stawamus Chief is one of the most popular hiking trails around Vancouver - a challenging steep trail up and down the three peaks, with incredible views over Howe Sound and to the north to Garibaldi Provincial Park. The indigenous people considered the Chief a place of spiritual significance. At the end of the video: a couple of shots from the nearby Shannon Falls.

Es un lugar encantado tiene todo lo que me gusta ,, impresionantes son los árboles enormes con sus raíces fuera de la tierra los años pasan y pero ellos van en busca dónde puedan undir sus raíces en busca de aguas y alimentos son sobrevivientes del tiempo saben cómo manejar lo poco que consiguen se niegan a dejar de luchar ,,la música es un placer para los oídos,, me encantó...... gracias

Seems like a popular place with a beautiful view of Squamish and surrounding mountains. I suppose you must have pass to Whistler....I pass there last year in January going skiing at Whistler. The trees growing between all the rocks was amazing ....was that Shannon Falls ? I remember seeing it when Hélène and I passed on our road trip in 2016 .

Hi H&S, yes, the waterfall is the nearby Shannon Falls. I went nearby Whistler as well, to do the Wedgemount Lake trail in Garibaldi Provincial Park
