- Buckskin Gulch, Utah is the longest and deepest slot canyon in the United States, and arguably in the world, and is also one of the most stunning and famous slot canyons. The 13 mile (21 km) canyon is at most places less than 10 feet (3.3 mt) wide, and its walls reach 400 feet (120 mt) at the deepest point.
In the video: Entering from Wire Pass trailhead, hiking the Bucking Gulch to the Paria River confluence and then along Paria River to the White House trailhead (total 20 miles, 32 km)

Find a Utah travel guide/book with all the places it lists as great to go to. Then go to none of those places and you'll love it. I've set foot on locations in Utah were only a few humans have ever seen. One of my favorite states.

Buckskin Gulch 4+ Billion years in the making, can Earth cook or can Earth cook! Not only did natures power lift this ancient seabed several hundred feet over thousands of square miles, it turned it 90 degrees in many locations. Don't mess with Mother Nature. I'm moving to Utah from Ca. in about 4 more weeks, can't wait. Fantastic display of this Planets Majestic Beauty, just what I needed to soothe an otherwise painful day. Thanks a Billion, thanks 4+ billion for bringing us Buckskin Gulch.

Very beautiful lots of hiking too, magnificent view , but its worth it. Amazing wonders. The whole utah is so beautiful, must have a strong bones to keep going hiking.
This is some of the best footage I've seen of the buckskin. As hard as I've tried, I've never been able to properly convey the height of the canyon walls to my children. Even the logs jammed 50 ft up are shown. Well done and thank you.

I watch these videos and I start to cry because they are so beautiful. They do something to my spirit. I don't know how I'm going to do it but I must take one of these hikes. Please, somebody send me group hiking information for active people over 60. Maybe I'll have to start my own group.

What a great location, I confess to having always been fascinated by very large rocks and this site does not disappoint. At a rough guess many of the unusual profiles are due to long term wind erosion but the sheer size of the canyons was really impressive. Great work as usual.
