    I also developed a rash around my waistline when I began a more intense fasting routine. It lasted for nearly 6 weeks. I thought at the time it may have been related to the change in diet. Thanks for the confirmation and the helpful information.
    I’m down almost 70 pounds since beginning a fasting lifestyle.

    I received lymphatic drainage message after breast cancer surgery. 4 years later and I still do it in the shower with the washcloth. This was a great video. Just interesting fact that everyone has a different number of lymph nodes. Reminds me of your favorite saying "You were born in a miracle." ❤❤❤

    Sinus issues on day 4 of my fast. So I massaged all areas. I felt no odd effects, but the massage was very relaxing. Especialy in the ab area. I never massaged my abs before but it felt good. BTW: I am doing an 8 day fast in honor of my wife. Thank you for the information.

    I've been IF for a few months now, and have started OMAD about a week ago. I've developed a pretty nasty rash on my arms that burns and wakes me up at night. I'll definitely try adding this to my regular routine. I love fasting and I don't want this to deter me. Thanks Dr Mindy!

    For 3 yrs I use a modified plant based Mediterranean OMAD eating plan that helped me lose at least 50lbs. I exercised in a fasted state but my meal was several hours after exercising. This left me with flabby arms. I also developed serious rashes and cellulite, which I now know resulted from clogged lymph’s. My dilemma is adjusting to an earlier eating window or later exercise period. 🤷🏽‍♀️

    • @DrMindyPelz
      @DrMindyPelz  ปีที่แล้ว

      I recommend that the muscle reset and should eat meat. You can't achieve muscle building if you don't eat meat that will helps with flabby arms. That is why I always recommend variations in everything including the way we eat foods. 🙂

Dr. Pelz;; When we do 48 hour water-only fasts, and there are no longer any feelings whatsoever other than physical, emotional, cerebral bliss & comfort, does this '''firmly confirm'' we have detoxed effectively over the months of l/F or is it merely just a likelihood??????????????? Does red light help lymph flow? Also, are baker cysts behind the knees the same as the lymph puff you are talking about? Thanks!

    • @DrMindyPelz
      @DrMindyPelz  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Red light therapy may have potential benefits for lymph flow, but it's essential to consult with a healthcare provider for specific guidance. Baker's cysts and lymphatic puffiness are different conditions. Baker's cysts are fluid-filled sacs that typically form behind the knee joint, while lymphatic puffiness refers to lymphatic congestion or swelling in various areas of the body. If you have concerns about either condition, seek medical evaluation for accurate diagnosis and management.

      Yes, it could be. You should do what I've been recommending in this video. Hope it helps. 🙂

    Vibration therapy helps as well.

    I think I might have been too aggressive with this… i saw a video with dry brushing and they did it vigorously, so i tried that. Within a week I had terribly swollen arm pit lymph nodes. I’m guessing this just shows how clogged I’ve been, but is dry brushing generally supposed to be softer?
    Also, what about a vibration or power plate for lymph movement?

    After fasting I recently got puffy eyes, nose.. could it be a sign of detoxification?

    • @DrMindyPelz
      @DrMindyPelz  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, Maybe, you may have stagnant liver, bile, and gallbladder functions which makes your detox pathways clogged. Try to help your liver with the Castor Oil Pack, Coffee enema, and BIND to open the detox pathways and it helps you to push those toxins outside of your body. 🙂

      @@DrMindyPelz I appreciate the link, currently sitting in parking lot of hardware store before heading to pick-up groceries for my mother and try to fix her sliding screen door with what I just bought. I guess I’ll just try and remember to do a Google search for the massager question.

    This is the second time in my life I have done keto, but the first time I have done it with fasting and definitely the first time with my hormones in mind. Also the first time I understand those hormones and not wonder what they were about. Rashes on my face and chest and gaining weight and the puffiness above my left clavicle and pits, well they are no fun. I have been doing the lymphatic drainage and bouncing up and down, it's been one day of it. I have myself confused a bit, tho, I took a break from longer fasting to 13 hr fasts. Eating clean, any ideas should I go back into the fast, or give it a few days??

    My supra clavicle area has been swollen since December 2021. Doctor did a ultrasound on it right away because I had ovarian cancer 5 years ago she said they want to rule cancer out. Also since the swelling I sometimes find it had to catch a deep breath. I had a chest exray, everything there was ok. I have been waiting for a pulmonary function test which has finally been scheduled.
    I do have allergies and use flonase and a rinse solution. Anyways I just say this and I messaged my clavicle area and I totally fill post nasal drop going on.

    Dr Mindy can you give us good tips on how to find a "good" massage therapist that does lymphatic massage?
    What questions should we be asking or things we should be looking for to know that we are getting a good therapist?
