    Thanks for your video. Can you do a video on drainage for all four limbs in the same session for those with lipoedema . It would be so helpful as it is difficult to know the sequence and direction to guide the lymph. Thank you

      That is exactly what is in the above video.Kelly shows the full body brushing sequence and pathways and directions clearly.Same for everyones body, including thiose with lipoedema.Those of us who have had nodes removed just spend longer on working on brushing or massaging that region.Use the same methods and directions for our hands when we are washing and applying moisturiser for extra lymph moving .

    Is it ok to feel pain in the lymph nodes after a dry brushing/lyphm drainage? or is it a warning not to go on?

    1:15 just curious- how come you don’t actually brush the armpit area ? It seems like you move everything to that area but if the armpit is clogged too then everything is stuck there?

    Hopefully you get this question: I watched your video on rebounding for lymphatic drainage. I've read that you shouldn't wear restrictive clothing while rebounding because it may impede lymph drainage. However, would it be ok to wear mild compression leggings? I usually wear either large cotton capris or my nightgown. I don't have prescription leggings at this time. Thank you...

    • @CancerRehabPT
      @CancerRehabPT  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Proper compression that is meant for swelling is actually helpful to wear during exercise to support the lymphatics. Restrictive clothing that is encouraged to avoid is anything that digs in or causes a tourniquet-like restriction

    Great video! I'm also very confused by the ever-changing information that comes from each video...I wanted to ask you if it's better to do it at a certain time or if it's fine at any time because I often don't have the necessary time in the morning. I also wanted to ask you if it is essential to shower immediately after brushing or if it is sufficient to apply moisturizing cream all over your body. I hope you can clarify these doubts, thank you!

    • @CancerRehabPT
      @CancerRehabPT  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It varies on what works for someone’s schedule and their goals. Once a day for any lymphatic drainage is plenty, but some only do it weekly or as needed because that’s all they have time for. 🙂

      @@CancerRehabPT This linked video is from 3 years ago and doesn't seem to take into consideration the new ALERT study. Or are the techniques you show in this one still valid for this particular area (chest wall/breast)? Would the dry brushing technique (for lymph node removal etc) be similar to the massage technique shown in this video, just done with the brush instead? I know you've done new videos for arms and legs incorporating the ALERT info, but did I miss a new one for the breast/chest wall?

    I have lymph build up on the left side of my neck, my left armpit and left forearm above the elbow. How can I get these spots to RELEASE or drain? You are brushing upward. Is that how lymph drains? Should I brush my left arm up toward my armpit, and then brush down from my armpit in a particular direction?

    • @crispykmm9646
      @crispykmm9646 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Kelly shows how to massage clavical areas, then armpit , then brush up towards armpit. No don't brush down from armpit. Regular doing what Kelly shows in this video and she also has other videos specific to head and neck and arm and chest to explore if you want to wacth more, but it all basically the same. Slow massage on those spots, belly breathing . You can also masgae above and below the clavical for some extra node clusters and the back top of your shoulder for a bit extra, some people also may find across the back brushing or massage helpful. Consistency is the key. Small gentle massages , often. Eventually you will see results.

    Excuse me miss, I had edema for years, up to a few years ago, and I managed to fix it in a few days with 2 supplements! 😮
    Is lymphedema similar to edema?
    I can tell you the supplements if you like.

    What if you had pelvic lymph nodes removed? It's so difficult to find information about this because most of the specific advice is for lymph nodes removed from armpit area only.

    I am a little confused. I have heard so many times to start with the feet and work upwards, moving the fluid into each main Lymph duct as you go.

    • @CancerRehabPT
      @CancerRehabPT  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This is a common misconception, yes. The reason we don't start at the feet/hands is that often the fluid is congested closer in and if we don't clear this out first, then the fluid near the feet and hands isn't going to go anywhere. I hope that helps a little bit :)
