I am so very appreciative that you move through things quickly and assume we are intelligent beings. You get to the point and there is no wasted time in your videos. You are a natural at this!
For those of us who struggle to find things that fit (and look flattering... 🦄 territory) it can be esteem crushing to walk out of store after store empty handed. I found myself buying stuff just to avoid feeling like a shopping failure. I finally flipped the script in my head that I wasn't the problem, instead shopping as a treasure hunt and I was only content with a perfect piece. My closet is now stocked with just pieces that I love and look great on me.
But I want to keep for future interviews. I don’t want to spend $80 or 150 too buy jacket, top and bottom to have an job or volunteer interview here or there.
This is the BEST closet decluttering strategy video I’ve seen on TH-cam! Thanks so much. 😊 The flow chart is EPIC!!! 😱 One additional hack if you just can’t seem to find time to declutter your whole closet because it’s currently overflowing with clothes is to just work on it for 15 minutes EVERY DAY (or a different increment of time that’s manageable). I’ve accomplished so much by doing this!
This is very helpful. When I lost my home and was packing up my clothes, I had clothes that I’ve had for 5+ years that still had tags on them. I definitely wasn’t going to wear them so I donated them to my church. They were able to sell them and get good money because it was for the church and charity. I wouldn’t have been able to get the money they did, I didn’t pay that much for most of the clothes. I bought them when a store was closing, they were all a couple dollars. It felt good knowing I was helping my church when I couldn’t give them actual cash, money.
The quality of your videos is outstanding. the information you present is so helpful and so easy to consume. I feel like I can actually apply the tips you present in your videos. Kuddos to you for adding actual substance to these "hack" videos we see all over you tube!
I started folding my clothes the KonMari way and it takes more thought and care. In turn, some things I realized I did’t want to spend that much time on because I didn’t love the item, so it allowed me to purge easier. You had some really great tips. I’m motivated to go purge more!
Great video!!! The one thing I’d add to the “one in, one out” rule is that we should really be more conscious of the environment and shop consignment stores. They’re great because you can bring in an item to sell to the store while buying another piece, all while reducing impact on the earth!!!
I sometimes use the “second closet” idea to help me decide on pieces to keep! If I can’t fully decide what to do with a piece, I’ll store it away and in a month or so if I haven’t thought about the pieces I stored away I’ll get rid of them and if I was looking for a piece I stored away I’ll bring it back into my closet
You have the best organizing and decluttering videos EVER, while being realistic and down to earth. Love your channel so much! I really like the one in, one out too! Great idea! Thank you!
With COVID, I am working from home with no end in sight. I found that I needed to invest in my loungewear category because I was wearing the same 5 shirts and pair of leggings. I packed up my professional attire and will pull it out when it’s time to go back to the office. Having a “second wardrobe” has been life changing!
I did this several months ago and realized the majority of my wardrobe is for work, where I spend the majorityof my day. Thinking about it in practical terms has stopped me from buying new non work clothes because I barely wear what I already own.
i once visited a friend that worked a loooot. he had like 20 suits and 5 regular shirts for leisure time. I remember I was shocked, but it made total sense!
My favorite quote from the video was " If I saw this hanging in the store, would I want to buy it?" That one always helps me power through my purging. Excellent advice, Kali! If you get into a purging mood, the minimal mom youtube channel has some amazing motivation and purging tips as well.
I've watched a ridiculous amount of minimalist/closet decluttering content over the past year or so, but if I was to point to THE most all-in-one helpful, approachable video for closet decluttering, I'd point to this one. Brava, my friend!
Ive been on a purging kick the last few months & I went thru my closet & got rid of like 3 big trash bags of clothes & yet when I look in my closet its still mostly “i might need it” clothes. Thank you for breaking it down. It makes much more sense &I feel I will be able to get my closet organized efficiently now. Also just a tip to organizing the dresser drawers is to stack them from back to front instead of bottom to top. That way you see everything in the drawer & dont have to sift thru all the clothes and get them all shuffled &unfolded. 👍🏻 I started doing this years ago & its saved me a lot of headache
This is the absolute best and easiest video I’ve ever watched on purging my closet. Every other video or “style” on purging has just made me more overwhelmed. Thank you so much!
I’ve had clothes in my closet that I owned for 3 years and never wore. I’m glad I didn’t get rid of them bc I finally wore them! 😂 I just had to wait until I became a skirt person to wear some of my cute, comfy bodysuits. I know this isn’t practical for some people but I at least know that I’ll wear them and actually do. However, I’m trying to start wearing those clothes more often by flipping the hangers the opposite way so I’m more inclined to grab those since I know I haven’t worn them since the last time I adjusted my hangers
Yes!! As a family of five, once we got our clothes streamlined, my biggest key has been to purge as we do laundry. It keeps things manageable. And at the end of a season, as I'm changing out the clothes, I double check that what is coming into play fits and what is being stored will (most likely) fit the next time we need it. Great tips!!!
As someone who has adhd and holds on to too clutter easily (converting to minimalism) its can be challenging to start a big project like this without structure. I loved your video but I have to say, my favorite part is when you mention the printable worksheets; as I've needed a system and a already made worksheet and meaningful structured system to follow is so helpful and appreciated! You are awesome!!!
Can I add a couple categories? I guess this could go into "formal", but you need a set of funeral, wedding, church clothes. And another category I call "bleachy clothes" or clothes I don't mind scrubbing toilets, splashing bleach on, or other icky staining activities
Another one that I've adopted that I LOVE is I have a basket where all the socks that don't have a match go. Once I finish all the laundry in the house if that sock still doesn't have a match it goes in the trash. This helps SOOO much with how many random socks end up in mine and my husband's dresser.
This is the best video I’ve seen about decluttering your closet - and I’ve seen A LOT! I like the categorizing portion before you even start!! A must see video for anyone who is looking for some direction.
Thanks so much Kallie! This is very helpful and I love your closet. These are great things to remember. Even though I haven't bought any clothes in the past five years, I am always decluttering and purging. I enjoy seeing everything folded and organized. My main categories today are 1. Casual Everyday/Comfy/Clean lines 2. Work 2 the Max Items 3. Fancy & Pretty. 😎 And you are right about the second closet, I call it seasonal closet. Because I live in Rhode Island the weather changes every six months, so I switch the seasonal clothes. And for shoes I've gotten really good at cleaning them, polishing them (if it's leather), fixing them (if coming apart). Finally now I have seven Spring/Summer and seven Fall/Winter. Just grab the clothes, shoes, and my purse. And I'm ready to go. 😀
I love that you talk about the continued purge. I find myself looking into my closet more often and getting rid of more but I wasn't sure if I was overdoing the curated closet thing
Your video was so helpful for me. I'm able to get rid of all the office clothes since I am now working from home permanently. No longer need the variety to rotate. And, let's talk about the boxes of shoes (yes, they all live in their box in the closet) that can move out as well...while I'm at it, just think of all the accessories that are no longer necessary! WOW!! Thanks Kallie! Now I need another cup of coffee!!
Very well done. Thank you! This is the best walk through on purging and organizing clothing that I've seen on TH-cam. A note on organizing by clothing type, I purchased a pack of plastic "do not disturb" door hangers to divide sections in my closet for each category of hanging items. They help keep my closet from getting jumbled after I worked so hard to organize it. Thank you for all your great content!
Yes 🙌🏻 feeling overwhelmed but ready to commit. I’m loving the “one in one out” rule... and how it affects choices in future purchases. Starting. Now. And the storing/removing of seasonal clothes to simplify so helpful. It’s difficult to purge but I’m finding it’s getting easier with practice plus maybe donating will give items new life.
I love your uploads and have just subscribed. My second wardrobe, I wanted to share, is a suitcase that slides under the spare bed. It works for me and might work for someone else too. Thanks for your help Kallie xx
I think this kind of goes along with decluttering underwear. Im pretty sure we all have those categories of new/everyday, sexy/date night, comfy/lounge, and period panties. Way too many options had my dresser drawer stuffed to the max!
Yes I have to work on that too. I want to get some of those spice organizers or something from dollar tree and organize them, same tote bras I have a few in my drawer and some on a 4 sided hook hanger in the closet.
Underwear are just as important as outer wear. I washed my under wear and about 4 pairs of my newest underwear got some nice holes in them from the dryer in my apartment complex. I am poor so I haven't replaced them yet plus I am dying . I am married to a holy man that doesn't like underwear on me anyway but still the dryer ripped the best and newest pairs lol
I discovered you a few days ago and I just feel it has changed my life for the better 🥺. I’m already pretty organized but seeing there are things that I can improve AND you give me lists and flow charts 😭😭 it’s all my OCD dreams come true
I'm 9 months pregnant, so my closet has exploded between my regular clothes and the maternity clothes. I'm watching this in anticipation of purging maternity clothes and getting my closet back to normal! Although I don't know exactly what my new size will be, so I don't want to purge too much now.
This video is perfect! I came here to watch a closet cleanout but got so much more. Your tips are so helpful. I am more motivated and confident about my closet cleanout. Feeling a lot less doom.
A year after having my 2nd child I decided it was time to clean out my wardrobe. So I took a photo of my OOTD for about a month. W/in that time I had a good idea of what I wore day to day. Also realized, and I think most people do, I basically wear a “ Capsule wardrobe”. This realization has really helped me purge and now keep a constant wardrobe. Also everone should have a 2nd or seasonal wardrobe. It’s helpful for those of us that experience all four seasons. I break mine into three winter, summer and fall/spring.
This year I decided to embrace my athleisure preferences. I stay at home and homeschool my kids (since before covid 😆) and I workout 5 days a week and take our dog for walks usually twice a day. Athleisure can get a bad rap, but it really makes the most sense for me! I probably have the least amount of clothes I've ever had now.
Thank you! I have tried and failed often to organize my clothes. Currently I am going through my closet and I needed motivation. First thing first get motivated with Kalli! ❤
This is hands down the best video I have watched for organizing my closet! I have been overwhelmed for a LONG time with all my items and have never been able to let things go. This has helped me SOOOO much with starting the process! Thank you so much!!!
You give such good, logical advice! It’s 9pm right now, but I really want to start purging my closet…right now! Also, thank you for being real…the inside out pants would drive me crazy, lol but that’s you and you totally kept it real in your video. And you didn’t tell me to buy a bunch of stuff and “click the link” (which I totally end up doing a lot of the time). You just gave logical advice on something that plagues most adults. Thank you!
This is probably the best video I have ever seen about decluttering your closet. I get allot of handy downs and most of them don't really fit for my style but I would hold onto them just because I'd feel guilty. But this will help me so much more in knowing what to toss and what to keep
when you gave the blazer example i immediately started to think my formal outfits.when I started to work , my company had formal wearing rule then it changed to casual..now I am working from a home office and it seems it will be permanent.so I will not need any work clothes, like ever:) at the end of the video I started to declutter my work clothes so thank you for the video! 🙂
This video is a LIFE SAVER!!! I plan to declutter my wardrobe tomorrow and I've been spending days watching TH-cam videos before I get to do it. This is the most unique and USEFUL video ever!! This is so helpful I can't thank you enough. I can't wait to declutter my wardrobe now!
Purging/ minimizing my clothes has been on my To Do list for so long and it just seemed like such a daunting task. Thank you for making this video and simplifying the whole process. I literally have an entire closet of clothes I rarely wear anymore. My main closet is super organized.
I love the tip to have your clothes by how you use them. I have been putting likes with likes, example all my pants together but some are lounge, some wear out of the house and formal but I have been having a hard time just knowing how much of what. Love this tip.
Just the push I needed! I'm literally in the middle of purging my wardrobe and I was flagging lol. I agree so much with other comments - you're so informative and your videos so so useful and a big reason for that is the way you just talk about the topic and share your content with us (those sheets are insane prep thanks so much!?). With so many vids I feel the person just enjoy watching themselves too much, and therefore hyperexplain things like, I don't know, hangers and what donating is (real). Thanks so much for the push and all the work behind your videos. X
Love the video! My trick on my closet organization is keep my storage/hangers limited. I moved to college a few years ago and only took about 20 hangers with me so I only keep about more or less of 20 clothing items on my hangers, (I sometimes hang multiple items on one hangers like my flannels or cardigans, if I need extra hangers for my towels or wet laundry). I just had those 20 hangers and a 4-tier dresser in a small closet. I had my socks/underwear/bras/tank top all in one drawer, then all my tops in one drawer, bottoms (all pants/skirts/shorts) in one drawer, then seasonal items in the last one (hoodies/winter sweaters/scarves/hats/swimsuit). For the more delicate/don’t want them wrinkled/nicer items, I hang them up on the hanger like my nicer blouses and shirts, flannels and cardigans, and a couple jackets I wear often. I realized I can live comfortably with very little selection of clothes. It makes laundry so much faster and easier, and cuts down on my stress and time on organizing, and I used to have a ton of clothes! Like I literally kept everything I ever worn and never throw them away, so I had clothes from elementary school I still kept in high school. I lived away from home and maintain this small selection of clothes for college for like 3 years now and it surprisingly was more than enough for me. I do still have some heavier winter clothes and formal wears but I kept them at home and honestly rarely have the chance and the need to wear them lol. When I occasionally go home I’d take the time to go though any old stuff I have at home and donate them or toss them. I ended up donating like 90% of my old closet at home bc I haven’t worn them and never thought about or missed them while I was away. I told myself to not buy anymore hangers or baskets type of things to store clothing so I don’t fill up my closet. And even with this small collection of clothings I still have some piece that would sit in my closet and never get worn. I’d donate those pieces after a year or so if I am ready to let it go or if I buy new pieces of clothes that I love. I also organized my closet by color, it makes putting an outfit together easier too! White, soft pink/red, light yellow, army green, mauve blue, navy, black, taupe are most of the colors I wear and they all can match together in an outfit easily
This is the most helpful video I have seen on how to reduce and simplify a wardrobe, and I have watched a lot. Thank you, I now feel I can actually do it.
Lounge/Daily/Active are the same for me, aside from jeans which can be for the formal/work/going out. Having the combo of business casual with some black trousers and such, maybe a little black cocktail dress, makes it all easier. Most of my shirts are casual. I might feel a little awkward wearing them for whichever activity, but due to them being loose and not fancy, that is good enough for me to work as pjs, walking around, and just chilling in.
In the fall and the spring, the kids and I have The Great Clothes Migration. (We watched a lot of Land Before Time movies when they were small, and often did it while watching a 🎥!) We have seasons. We decide what is worn out, what is worth saving for 6 months, what is ready to be a hand me down, what never got worn, etc. We determine what we need for the next six months. Undergarments and socks are evaluated. The things that work for the current weather are now available. We each have a bin big enough to store the winter clothes. I make an actual shopping list for the thrift stores and Target.
Kallie....you are brilliant. Your sense of humor is exceptional. I love how you speak and explain what you are saying. Thanks for all the work you put into your videos. It is not unnoticed, believe me.
I guess as a teacher you will probably understand this. I have read books and book about these topics but I guess ii am more an auditory learner because I now that I have listened to your videos I am purging my kitchen today and have a plan for the rest of my house. Covid and being “prepared” got me back in the bad habit of keeping stuff just in case! Thank you You are doing a great job and I am sharing you with my adult daughters and friends💕💕💕
I found this video very helpful! I have a lot of clothes that are sentimental, from my sisters or from friends that I don't want to give away. It is very over whelming because I think of my family when I see them! I find your video helped me to have a plan on which to keep and which to give away!
I have been watching so many of these types of videos and this was one of the most logical with the think of the categories processes. Thank you love the logic!
I love how practical you are, and I love how well you teach. Thanks for the motivation. I just organized my closet and I still have way too much stuff. I needed this.
In addition to the helpful information you have provided, I also separate my clothes by season. I now have my fall/winter clothes out and my spring/summer clothes put away. This keeps my drawers neat and I’m not looking through summer clothes for winter clothes.
I watched the whole video taking notes without skipping anything I love how you get straight to the point And you give so much information love your channel you deserve to go viral 💕👏🏻😁You’re so talented
I have watched tooooons of organizing videos and by far, yours made the most sense and was really applicable to a lay person like me. Keep up the great work! Mama fan from the Philippines here. ♥️
Yes. You need a channel....like a real television show. Which this works for me but more people need to be exposed somehow. You are awesome. You're fun funny happy real personality...Love it. Your humor is so fun.
Young and wise: millennia women are so smart! Great advice! I agree with you almost 100% Thanks! I am all about simplifying my life and having extra time for relaxation. Blessings!
I agree with those whom said that you put a lot of effort into your videos. I love the breakdown methods you use. I'm looking forward to getting my life back in order. You're amazing.
Whoa. The white board knocked it out of the park for me! Ive been trying so hard to streamline closets in the home and this will really help me as I feel like I’m spinning my wheels. Thank you!
Great video! I like to purge my closet when I have a big load of laundry of mine or my kids clothes in the wash. Whatever is left in the closet & drawers (and doesn't get worn week after week) probably doesn't fit well or we don't like much. Makes my decisions easier. ✔️
I only recently subscribed to your channel after watching it for nearly a year! (Always gave you a 👍tho!) So only just saw this video now!! You’re exactly right about the never used/but one day clothes! 2 things I do…turn the hanger around as a marker to show it’s not been worn (if I did the hanger would’ve been moved to the correct position) & sell back to PoshMark or ThredUP! Great ways to get some $$ & also to buy! Second I live in Los Angeles & NO SEASONS (save for trips to nearby mountains). So I organize my closet by just warm & cold. Short sleeved shirts Capri pants, tanks & then long sleeved shirts, long pants, coats. My drawers I do in the order I dress… so top drawer is underwear and socks, then leggings & shorts, next is sweat shirts & sweat pants, next sweaters, & finally night clothes in the very bottom drawer. Probably OCD but once you do it this way it’s easier, especially for kids!
I love how you edit videos. You make them very entertaining and sometimes even funny. Based on your purging rules I can get rid of everything. I havent left the house much in over a year. I stick to pajamas or sweat pants. I feel like even when I will be back into the world, everything I have will be out of style.
I love the idea of organizing by use not type… I’ll be rearranging my closet this weekend! Drawers are already done this way, but I didn’t think to do my closet this way 🤷♀️
I've never been especially into fashion and I've moved 9 times in the past 9 years, including two moves halfway across the country. I've been in the same place for over two years now and probably will have one final move into a house next year. But all this means that I've had to go through my entire wardrobe more frequently than I think a lot of people do. As a result, all of my clothes can fit into one large box and I can never forget that I own something by losing it at the back of the closet!
I do something very similar to this. I have the 6month closet (all my fall/winter clothes out now and spring/summer packed away). When I change out my clothes for the next 6mo I look at what I have and have not worn and make a donation pile out of the clothes that I didn’t reach for once during that season. This has really helped me keep my closet more organized and helps me make better choices when buying a new outfit
So Glad I found you. You get straight to the point, give awesome tips, & action items. ❤it! So tired of videos full of fluff pointless conversations. 🙌☺️👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This video is incredible! I have been suffering with severe health issues, a few of them being severe brain fog and severe fatigue. I'm so thankful for your video and I look forward to using it to help me organize my closet. I'm also subbing to your channel and hoping to use your videos to organize other areas of my life as well! Thank you so much 💕
This is some super advice. Other vids on TH-cam don't break it down enough, they literally start with purging and I don't really know what my style is. So to finally see someone say figure you out before you throw all your clothes away is refreshing 👏🏾😁. I am motivated....but not gonna lie I'm still feeling lazy today 😂. Great job again Kallie 🖤
Personally something that helps me 'cope' with getting rid of clothes is having pictures. It works more when going through my kids' clothes as they outgrow something. Do I pack this away for future kids or sell/donate? Well if I have a pic of them in the outfit then it makes it easier for me to say goodbye to it. If the outfit has a memory attached I have the picture to help trigger it.
Thats very true. My mom kept every piece of clothing we took formal pictures in and I see it both ways. One thing that helps me is that I try to find specific people to give the clothes to for free who I know will enjoy and use it. Like I had some really nice north face jackets that I bought going into college but they don't fit now. Not because I am fat or anything but my body at 24 is not what my body was at 18 and that ok but it was so hard for me to give those up but when my cousin said her kids were in need of a jackets and things were tight and mine were the right size, having them go to a home where they could 'live' again helped me move on from them
I am so very appreciative that you move through things quickly and assume we are intelligent beings. You get to the point and there is no wasted time in your videos. You are a natural at this!
I was going to say the same thing!! Love that she gets straight to the point.
I have stopped watching several videos because it takes forever to get to the point. I give those a thumbs down and move on.
Omg yes!!!
When I watch her videos i get up and get rid of things.
When I watch other videos about decluttering I think, “good idea” from the couch/bed/floor.
I AGREE!!!!
Love the "if I saw it in a store would i buy it again" rule. That's really helped me.
Yes, I call it 'shopping in my closet'. If I would buy it today, it stays!
almost always the answer is no
For those of us who struggle to find things that fit (and look flattering...
I love how this was filmed and edited . I appreciate the effort you put into this
Love her videos
I’ll second that! Beautiful work & a handbook!!! It’s time to binge your channel while I organize! Ty TY Ty 💕
brilliant editing for sure!! Love Homer Simpson
But I want to keep for future interviews. I don’t want to spend $80 or 150 too buy jacket, top and bottom to have an job or volunteer interview here or there.
@@maggiel6597 Maybe try Rent The Runway 🌞✌️
One of my favourite quotes. “Your clothes are your roommates; except you’re paying their rent”
I'm sorry you lost your home. That's happened to me before and it's awful. I hope things are stable again for you.
The quality of your videos is outstanding. the information you present is so helpful and so easy to consume. I feel like I can actually apply the tips you present in your videos. Kuddos to you for adding actual substance to these "hack" videos we see all over you tube!
Totally agree!!!!
Thank you for motivation I truly need as you teach what may work for us all in different ways.
I started folding my clothes the KonMari way and it takes more thought and care. In turn, some things I realized I did’t want to spend that much time on because I didn’t love the item, so it allowed me to purge easier. You had some really great tips. I’m motivated to go purge more!

I like that you have your priorities straight, "But First, Coffee".
You have the best organizing and decluttering videos EVER, while being realistic and down to earth. Love your channel so much! I really like the one in, one out too! Great idea! Thank you!
With COVID, I am working from home with no end in sight. I found that I needed to invest in my loungewear category because I was wearing the same 5 shirts and pair of leggings. i once visited a friend that worked a loooot. he had like 20 suits and 5 regular shirts for leisure time. I remember I was shocked, but it made total sense!
I love how approachable your lifestyle is,I’m tired of watching all of those huge dressing rooms being organized in fancy mansions!
Same. Mi closet is a cupboard anyways 😅
Watched the first 6 mins and my closet life changed. Watched so many decluttering videos and you made everything so clear.

I agree!
This looks is great! And I have to add garden clothes.
Great idea! I have 2 hair coloring shirts!
Yeah, I have a set of bleach clothes. Got to it the hard way. :-)
Yep, I have ‘funeral clothes’ esp when you get older.
Another one that I've adopted that I LOVE is I have a basket where all the socks that don't have a match go. Once I finish all the laundry in the house if that sock still doesn't have a match it goes in the trash. This helps SOOO much with how many random socks end up in mine and my husband's dresser.
The part about defining your style makes so much sense! Thanks for pointing that out.
This is the best video I’ve seen about decluttering your closet - and I’ve seen A LOT! I like the categorizing portion before you even start!! A must see video for anyone who is looking for some direction.
The decision process for defining your style and purging were so much better than any other process I have seen. Thank you.
Ugh mine too. I haven't worn thongs in 7yrs why do I have them!?!
Yes I have to work on that too. I want to get some of those spice organizers or something from dollar tree and organize them, same tote bras I have a few in my drawer and some on a 4 sided hook hanger in the closet.
@@bratmari some with TAGS! 💯🤣 Remember when VS had the 5 for $5/$10 sales???! Yes Honey! Imma pray for us. Lol
@@bratmari I have up on things yeeeeears ago when I was getting constant UTIs😳🤦🏼♀️😂
I feel like you just put into perspective three years of my life lol. Thank you
I discovered you a few days ago and I just feel it has changed my life for the better 🥺.
You are my kind of ppl🙂
This year I decided to embrace my athleisure preferences. I stay at home and homeschool my kids (since before covid 😆) and I workout 5 days a week and take our dog for walks usually twice a day. Athleisure can get a bad rap, but it really makes the most sense for me! I probably have the least amount of clothes I've ever had now.
Saaaame!
Thank you!
I have tried and failed often to organize my clothes.
Currently I am going through my closet and I needed motivation.
First thing first get motivated with Kalli! ❤
This is the most helpful clothes-decluttering video I’ve watched. It’s practical, specific and in-depth. Thank you for this excellent video ❤
The most comprehensive break down of how to clean out your closet that actually makes sense. Thank you!!!
These are such amazing, practical and pragmatic advice!! that flowchart is sweeetttt!!
Ugh. Purging a closet during a pandemic when I never leave my house is hard!
Such concrete and sound advice. The pre-purge assessment is the step I would think most people are missing, yet it makes so much sense!
My Second Wardrobe will be for post covid ie. church dresses, going out, etc.
Just here to say your username made me genuinely laugh out loud 😂
“My fantasy life” haha loved it. We all have fantasy lives. 😆
I found this video very helpful! I have a lot of clothes that are sentimental, from my sisters or from friends that I don't want to give away. It is very over whelming because I think of my family when I see them! I find your video helped me to have a plan on which to keep and which to give away!
This is the best closet organization video I’ve ever seen. 💯
The most helpful closet organization video I’ve seen by far! Thank you!!
This came just in time! I’m decluttering this weekend. I love this method over every other one I’ve seen! Thank you!
I appreciate the way you edit your videos. Funny, quick, yet detailed enough. Very entertaining and helpful at the same time.
Probably one of the best organizing tips I have come across. Thank you!
Young and wise: millennia women are so smart! Great advice! I agree with you almost 100%
Thanks! I am all about simplifying my life and having extra time for relaxation. Blessings!
I agree with those whom said that you put a lot of effort into your videos. I love the breakdown methods you use. I'm looking forward to getting my life back in order. You're amazing.
You're advice for decluttering has really inspired me. I'm a work in progress and really appreciate your videos!
This is the best wardrobe declutter video I've ever seen 😍😍 (and I've seen a lot!!) Thank you!
HONESTLY…. This was the most helpful closet decluttering video I’ve watched! Thank you!!
Wow, you just inspired me not just to organize my closet but to declutter the house! Thank you🥰
I love your videos so much. Just found you recently but I am “obsessed” with you channel. Amazing and real advices for real humans ! Thank you so much
This is the BEST video I’ve seen on organizing and purging your clothing. Way to go!
I have two wardrobes, I am in palliative care so I have scrub pants, tops, t-shirts and sweater just for that then my “ normal clothes” .
This is THE BEST guide I've ever come across. Thank you!!
I love how you edit videos. You make them very entertaining and sometimes even funny.
Based on your purging rules I can get rid of everything. I havent left the house much in over a year. I stick to pajamas or sweat pants.
I feel like even when I will be back into the world, everything I have will be out of style.
I really like this mindset. It's helpful to organize by use rather than just type. Also, really love the flowchart for how to purge a closet ❤️
I love the idea of organizing by use not type… I’ll be rearranging my closet this weekend! Drawers are already done this way, but I didn’t think to do my closet this way 🤷♀️
Your video encouraged me to revisit my closet again (which was decluttered yesterday) and ask better questions. Many more items gone!!!
That’s a great tip!
It's always easier to get rid of someone else's clothing. 😝
Not because I am fat or anything but my body at 24 is not what my body was at 18 and that ok but it was so hard for me to give those up but when my cousin said her kids were in need of a jackets and things were tight and mine were the right size, having them go to a home where they could 'live' again helped me move on from them
Good idea
