Why did they call Apollo 11 a spacecraft, it was the mission? (Question 34) Also it was Michael Collins, Neil Armstrong, and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin. The spacecraft is also the Saturn V/5
Hi, as a retired teacher of science, I did very well. I have not forgotten much of my subject.
Nicely done Nicholas! Thanks for playing :)
This is so fun! I am a person who loves space and this is so fun
Thanks for playing Ball :)

GREAT QUESTIONS! WAY TO GO APPTATO!
Glad you had fun! Thanks for playing
Very interesting. I am not an astronomist albeit in my youth was very interested. Managed to get approx 70% of questions correct, so surprised myself. Great quiz & graphics, thank you
Much appreciated Jim! Glad to hear you had fun! Thanks for playing :)
astronomist?
Thanks a lot ,
This really helped me I was having a space and astronomy olympiad yesterday and more questions came from this video ,so I am selected and going for trip to USA after two days
Thanks a lot ❤️❤️
Glad you found this video useful! Good luck at the Olympiad !
@@Apptato can you tell me that is this video is useful for astronomy Olympiad IOQA 2022 or not ?? Please tell me 🥺🥺
@@kavyasstatus7787 I honestly dont know since I've never been to an Astronomy olympiad. I simply find interesting / lesser known space facts and use it in a quiz format. I suppose it doesn't hurt to play / watch this video. Best of luck to your competition!
@@Apptato I know that if this video is not useful for me hence it's not harmful also but I want questions for ioqa Olympiad. Btw great video 👍😃 keep it up
I believe in the Big Bang Theory, I just KNOW who banged it!! 😉👆🏻
On the 23rd question:
At the time when this video was made, Saturn had most moons (82)
But now, it is Jupider who has most moons,(with 92)
Good to know. Thanks for the update!
Nah it's Saturn now it's 145 moons now hahaha
@@antoniepermite906 yup, forgot to edit lol
@@antoniepermite906 146 to be accurate
its a back and forth war, unknown would be a better answerr
Beautiful, amazing, outstanding, mind blowing, fantastic, good ,better, best, glorious, gorgeous.... I don't have words to describe em'.
If you don't mind May I ask some questions too?
Q.1 What is Dark matter
Q.2 What are the four branches of astronomy
Q.3 What is the name of a satellite that is still active, very very far away and was launched by NASA
Q.4
Hi as a retired teacher of science ,l did ery well . I have not forgotte much of my subject
Great quiz thanks very enjoyable I had 33/50👍👍😁🏴
Thanks for playing! Glad you had fun!
22. First right answer is what we call the sun in Sweden, second right answer is Greek
Thanks for this quiz. I got 44/50
Nicely done
I'm a space lover...❤ And I really enjoyed it.! 40/50
Nebula
Sorry but answers of many questions are not proper
Spoilers
Like at question no 26
It says just beyond Pluto
But the answer is it starts at 2000 au and ends at 3 light years.(hypothetical)
And it says at question 29 that it takes 8 min for the sun's light to reach the earth
But in reality it takes 1.3 seconds for it to reach the moon
To prove it let's just solve it
Solution
moon distance= 384,400
Speed of light=299,792,458 m/s
Distance of earth and sun=149,570,000
Therefore, 149,570,000÷384,400= 389.09
1.3× 389.09= 505.8 sec= 8.43 min
Therefore it takes light 8.43 min to reach earth fro. Sun
Hence, proved
Thanks for reading some might think this is just useless but I am just correcting you😊😊
Btw 47 out of 50
It's a nice quiz
Thanks for playing! Any feedback is welcome :)
43/50 some questions are so hard now my knowledge gets more better

Interesting facts,I learned so much 😅😅😅
I did good
7:03 SAID to be?! It's called Sagittarius A* and it has been even photographed.
11:36 "Spin"
It's called rotation, not spin.
Thanks for the clarifications
I started learning about Astronomy a few days ago and I got 21 points:)) (or 17 and 4 halfs, some of my answers I doubted or were a bit unspecific) theres still a lot I need to learn
I am confused about 20th question. Earth is small so it has less trees whereas the milky way has billions of stars . How can earth have more trees than the stars in milky way ?
Quite an interesting piece of trivia. Look more into it and see why.
Thanks for playing!

The problem of entering the earth and the overheating of the capsule carrying the astronauts,if we enter the atmosphere in the direction of the earth's rotation and at the same speed this problem will not be solved?
Its very helpful
Do we really have to know about the bad smells around Uranus? (Sorry, but I couldn't resist...)

(and for all of my science teacher ofc lol)
Venus and mercury
to me pluto is still a planet and will always be therefore we have nine planets in our solar system
Haha yea I hear ya. Grew up with Pluto as a planet as well. Sadly these definitions change. Same goes with country/ocean names.

Nicely done Keshab
Is no. 1. 9 planets? Because Pluto is still belong in solar system right? But it's a dwarf planet. Still considered a planet. The question didn't ask for FULL SIZED PLANET so I think the answer is 9. Please correct me if I'm wrong
It's often understood that planet and dwarf planet are different categories.
I'VE got all 50🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
👍
42/50
I only got 12/50
Out of 50 I answered 43

# 23. Saturn 146 moons
The 48th question's answer is lunar eclipse
I think the #34 is a little bit wrong, it's the Eagle
Never heard of a spacecraft called the Eagle.
A quick google search "space craft neil armstrong and buzz aldrin travelled in" shows Apollo 11.
My marks 50/48
do nice
nice man
got alot right im a future astronaut
Nicely done Haseen! Thanks for playing
Ok the Oort Cloud is most definitely not "just beyond Pluto". It is very, very far beyond Pluto. Like thousands of times Pluto's distance from the sun.
Also, that was not a picture of Ceres.
Thanks for the corrections.
Best
Thanks for playing
9:30 it isnt our atmosphere? its our magnetic feild

i got 38 right and i want to be an astronaut i am not lieng
Good job! Hopefully you make that come true one day!
The first question is incorrect. THERE ARE 9 PLANETS IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM, NOT 8 !
Not anymore. Pluto is no longer an official planet. It is a dwarf planet as of 2006.
