Born and raised in Baltimore. Left 8 years ago. Best decision I have ever made. I just couldn't stand to see a once beautiful city reduced to corner boys and vacants. Truly sad and utterly disgusting.

Mike Spector I agree 1000%. It is such a shame that a city so beautiful with so much to offer has this side of the coin as well. I spent my first 24yrs outside of the city, enjoying going downtown. Now I have to tell my friends that to go to an O's game or to The Inner Harbor when we visit we must be diligent and keep our radar up is heartbreaking to me 😪

Baltimore.....a liquor store at every intersection, and at least 12 boarded up rows houses per block, or your money back. I guarantee it. I won't be undersold!

They started out as single family homes, but were rented out as multiple families swelling. Common sense suggests that multiple families living in what was designed for a single family are racist tactics by design. Whenever building becomes old and starts to crumble they are rented to the more vulnerable members of society. Use your brain before judgemental comments.

I'll never forget my first trip to Baltimore, probably back around 2001 or so. I took my then girlfriend to the inner harbor and witnessed an upstanding young male citizen of the city running as fast as he could down the street holding a woman's purse under his arm. It didn't go with his outfit and this was way before it was cool for girls to be boys and vice versa, so its safe to say that he probably stole it.

It was a point where blacks were thriving in inner cities black businesses and all you know what the White men did build highways right on top of black communities forcing families to segregate and leave it's way more I could school you in and their is a lot of Psychological damage due to those actions of White leaders. Millions of dollars are being dumped into the iconic “Lexington Market” that’s a plus but it’s surrounded with Drug addicts. The drug addicts will move to another block invading the front of businesses. Baltimore needs change and we need it “Now!!!!!”

I've lived in Baltimore most of my life, and have traveled across the country and to various countries. Buffalo NY is a lot like Baltimore but upgraded. I have family there and travel upstate at least twice a year, so I spend about 2+ weeks there a year. I love it there and have considered moving but that will have to wait until I retire. I also love my hometown of Baltimore. The only thing I will state about this video and others like it is that they are showing you inner city neighborhoods, not the majority of Baltimore. There are many nice middle class neighborhoods in the city like where I live, no one is standing on the corners and there is no corner stores or bars. We have well kept properties and police are rarely seen unless they get a call or are passing through. I can sit on my deck at night and enjoy the peace and quiet like I am in the suburbs. All of Baltimore City is not the Wire 2.0

Poplar Grove and Edmondson Ave, In 1968 they where not paying people to stand on the street if they would Baltimore would go broke. We had to sweep the alley ways then and the steps where scrubbed clean. I left in 1976. Back for visits yet I was told if you stood still the corner would hold your feet then your cuties would play craps and drink beer so after observing that for a summer I decided to take a chance. 5 new home, 3 Mercedes, and traveling everywhere I wanted in the world I'm heading back to visit Family. The statement is not mention to brag, But to say what I did because I left. I wish more of my Hebrew Brothers would discover the risk of making a promenade move then return and compare. My Uncle told me " There are Ant's and Roaches" The Ants are always working , and when the light come on the Roaches scatter. Well it encourage me to become an Ant. Now the I can's drive by the I won't' on there way to work and after the shift. Drive by the I will not's asking for money so the maybe can eat. I know this one thing. One can be conditioned to do anything. Good or Bad, Right or wrong. It come down to choice. If you see me say Hi, I won't be hard to spot. I'll be driving a SUV with the Camp trailer on the back with out of state tags. To show it can be done. I don't have to brag or boast about me or my accomplishments. Just Represent and be proud of where I came from. Baltimore, will always be home. It's people my people. Oh they call me Mr. C. 4/26/18

Baltimore City is a relatively beautiful historical city that has been neglected terribly. Despite the negative views in our hoods, we are a people who love one another 4 sure. We have a bond like no other in The Charm City💙💙ONE love, Family always and 4 ever❤️❤️❤️Love my hometown baby and rep it EVERYDAY all day...21215 baby💪💋💪

These are not anywhere near the worst parts of West bmore. Gotta go to park heights deep in the side streets or other parts which are much worse off or even edmondson village behind the village shopping center or down poplar grove

You guys had to watch a video to see how bad shape Baltimore is in after Trump's tweets? The city has been like this for decades.
