According to this dude, he used to live in Atlanta, then moved to Baltimore to live with his girlfriend. He left her after getting cheated on and he became homeless. He told me that after 2 months on the streets, he got addicted to Heroin and he started tearing up a little. Said that he's been stuck for 9 months on the streets and that he doesn't care about his life anymore. Then this nigga tried to sell me a beat-up Nascar t-shirt with glitter glued on, it was fugly tbh. Anyways, that story fucked with me and I hope that he gets better. This mans emotion was so real. :(

@@Mdawq Isn't too bad, I live there too but I love in Northeast Baltimore, which is safer. Try not to go within South Baltimore except for the Inner Harbor and the Downtown Area. You're probably not going to be involved in any shooting, but be aware of your surroundings. I mostly head out to the county though.

Tell me about it. I got caught up in the life but watched my friends join trades unions etc. By the time I realized I gotta get out I was 31 years old. Filled out my application to the IBEW, passed my math and drug test, then blew out my L5 s1 in my back and now I need surgery and cant join. Meanwhile my boys who joined in their early 20's have houses, boats, RV's while I'm sitting here with a broke down body looking over my shoulder for some shit that I regret doing in the first place. I'm a Brit. How come when you see American cities at any time in the night, there's so many people on the street, moving around etc? Police would lock people up here, and people just don't mill around like that here. Always struck me as strange..

You don’t understand dude, a lot of these people grow up basically without families. No guidance from anyone. They they didn’t get educated because they were too busy trying to survive. You have no fucking clue how lucky you are man. Instead of judging other people, you have to look at your situation and realize not everyone in this world was set up for success like you were.
This is heartbreaking. It makes me grateful for what God has blessed me with. Think of these people growing up in a place like this. The feeling must be sadness and hopelessness. Devastating.

The result of sin, especially greed, (for example people literally enslaving foreign peoples to make things in other countries at a cheaper rate and exploiting them instead of employing people here) has lead to this. Of course a multitude of peoples wrong doings had led us to this point. This is a result of sin-God gives us free will to choose Him. But regardless my point here was saying I am humbled by seeing this and it’s absolutely tragic. Just a refresher to find ways to give back to these communities, put aside judgement and prejudice, and have gratitude.
