    I bought a 2017 vs 2018 due to the interior and reliability. The interior in the 2017 feels more spacious, the 2018 feels more cramped to me

      I thought I was the only one that noticed that !!!! The space in the 18 and up is CRAMPED!!!! I’m six four and fit perfect in the 17

    I prefer the front end of the 2017 model, but the rest of the exterior and interior is better on the 2018 one

    Here's something a little different! We thought you guys might enjoy a quick little video highlighting the difference between the all-new 2018 Camry and the current-gen 2017. Is it worth the upgrade?

      I think it is because of the standard Safety Sense P, the sexy rear end, the availability of more standard features, and the modern design.

      Keep doing these comparison videos as it gives the buyer a good idea of major changes like the transmission on this 2018 which will be used for the first time in the Camry.

    Nice job, good comparison. Exterior I'd take the 2017 over the 2018. Interior I like the 2018 better. Just personal opinion though. I bought a 2017 in May with the upgraded audio system (should have been standard IMO) and I'm very happy with it. I needed a car and couldn't wait for the 2018. I believe the dealers were offering good deals on the 2017's since the 2018's were coming out early.

    The new one doesn’t have the turning lights on the side of the grille like the 2017 does,
    makes it look more premium, also those fake slits or whatever they’re called under the tail lighs of the 2018 look awful.

    • @urielhernandez3286

      The turning lights on the 2017 reminds me of older car it doesn’t even make it look premium

    EXCELLENT review, I wish there were more videos like this that showed the "old" and "new" models side by side.
    BTW, I guess I am a bit conservative as I prefer the '17 model. To me, the '18 looks just a bit contrived: like they made it look more aggressive because they weren't interested in a new "suit of clothes" so to speak.
    And while this video is a year old, the buzz on the internet is that the 8 speed automatic transmission in the '18 has problems with excessive hunting. So maybe the folks in the transmission engineering department needed another year or two?

    Please focus on changes that matter to more of us. Is the interior room the same size from 2017 to 2018? Is the wheel base the same size? Is the trunk space the same size? Am I able to turn OFF all of the "safety" features? Am I able to replace with bulbs instead of false color LEDs? Does the 2018 have an actual transmission, or is it the rubberband CVT?

    Vvt transmission better and more reliable than cvt transmission in my opinion. 2 extra gears maybe better fuel economy. Hopefully new Toyota's will have their reputation of being reliable. Same with Honda.

    CVT transmission on the 2018 is unreliable, so I would opt for the older 2017 version.

    The tires on the 2017 look better, then again the paint on the 2018 looks a year better 🤣🤣 there basically about 75% the same , with a little 25% difference, I would choose the 17, more reliable transmission 6speed and why not save about $4,k on used one

    The 2018s do have many upgrades features, however they are still too new of technology and are failing very early. The 8 speed transmission have many shifting issues which are not labeled faulty by Toyota. Also many of the electronics in these newer cars are rendering costly repairs.

    • @jimmay1988
      @jimmay1988 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These lame review videos don't cover the common sense costly problems of newer Gens. There are many formal complaints of 2018's jerky transmission.

    The nose of the 2017 Camry has somewhat close to a Lexus resemblance. The 2018 camry just looks like a Camry .

    2018 and up camry the most ugly design ever seen the fancy style but very ugly dashboard design the Y shape weird dash...the steering wheel too plain boring no silver border trim...the speedometer is sure Ugly again..and speedometer is way too much to the right side often hard to see and it gets blocked by steering wheel at times ..just to fit that digital screen in between they scrwed up....but toyota had no brains to put that digital screen all the way to the right....outside visibilty on 2018 camry is too bad...wheel turning radius is too big you have to make bigger wider turns always....only the engine is updated and efficient on 2018 for sure....in all other respect 2015 to 2017 models have a good finish to it...and looks decent

      Liked Joshua R said Fogs lights not needed on a Car with LED front headlights and rear tail lights; last a lot longer than halogen bulbs. I just don't know about how much its cost to replace or easy installation.

    • @EduardoISF
      @EduardoISF 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      thái nguyen they sell aftermarket fog lights out there that look real nice on the new Camry’s. You can always modify your camry to your own taste and make your car look different.
