R/T Wasp I like Honda Accord but they have a big problem. The 2 Dr accord is still using a timing belt that should be changed every 60000 miles, and expensive service. I think the 4door accord is the same way.
I saw this car in person on the road at almost night fall and my goodness the car is so sharp and great looking. In person this cars looks freaking amazing.
I bought mine a few weeks ago. Predawn grey with black leather interior, Entune radio, moonroof, rear spoiler. 4-cylinder engine does not feel underpowered. Great gas mileage.
I am in absolute love with this new Camry. Toyota really hit it out of the park this time. I'm sure they will be everywhere in no time, lol. Glad to see it still has a V6 too.
I was wanting to buy a higher trim Camry or Accord just so I could have the HID or LED headlights, now I can get the SE, because it comes standard with HID headlights. This is AWESOME that Toyota is giving us upgraded headlights on the lower trims!
Just picked up a 2018 Toyota Camry SE! Amazing for what I got. Super SUPER sharp looking. Couldnt ask for anything better for what I spent. Toyota Master Race
Quick Sipper yeah I know..dont get me wrong i also like Hondas but the 2 things I don't like of the Accord its the shape of the car, taillights and no V6 👎👎
ER B LOL, a 252hp 2.0T compared to a 301hp 3.5L V6 (also a 192hp 1.5T vs 203-206hp 2.5L I4) on a LIGHTER car, its underpowered. The lil' extra ft-lbs of torque it has compared to the Camry won't help it either. Also, the previous gen Camry with the V6 was a lot heavier than this Accord with only 248 ft-lbs torque, yet it managed to hit 5.8 seconds from 0-60. Since the 2018 Camry's so much lighter than its predecessor thanks to the TNGA platform, it will be more fun to drive and faster than its predecessor. People said that the 2018 Camry V6 hits 60 mph in just 5.5 seconds, and I knew it. Plus, the torque is now nearly close (267 vs 273), so it's not such a big deal. Not to mention the Camry's V6 will also sound more refined compared to the Accord's 2.0T when accelerating too. Reliability will likely be ruined on the 2018 Accord with those raspy and underpowered turbos, judging by the amount of reliability complaints people had with the 2016-current Civic 1.5T.
I like that fact that Toyota didn't use aluminum lower control arm, thanks Toyota, really like old school key startup, and gear shifter. this car is a stunner, great video Mike
Mike's car reviews are always impressive. I like the way its reviewed and the crystal clear voice. I bought exactly same car and i love driving it. Thanks!!!

Even the lower trim level is better than the loaded 2018 Accord. Toyota definitely designed this with passion for once. I'm extremely impressed with it. I think it's safe to say this car is a Lexus with a Toyota badge.
Dustin Morris: ya i don't know what happened to Honda, but there not that once reliable company they used to be. my favorite Accord generation was from 98-08, and it's the same with the new Civic. my favorite Civic generations were from 1996-2000, and then the 2001-2005 gen. but after they redesigned the Civic in 2006, that's when Honda started having some problems especially when it came to transmission issues. now they sometimes they have cvt issues, it's one of the reasons i don't look at Honda cars when im out car shopping. my wife has the 2017 Camry as our family car, and then i have a 2015 Silverado 1500 LT that i use. we looked at the new Camry recently, but she's been pretty satisfied with it.
The Camry definitely needed this upgrade as the accord is about to debut its radical redesign too. I will say wait until next year to buy this Camry used as you likely get butt screwed by the dealers by price because it's the latest and greatest thing.
Mark Magtoto bought mine today. I really struggled between the blue and the white. In the end, the white had a roof and the blue at the dealer didn’t so I came home with white. No regrets
30 year Honda tech here. Unfortunately Honda has really gone down in reliability and customer service over the last ten years. 1990 -1993 accords had distributors that had a bearing fail. Even at 120k Honda was repairing under good will warranty. Those days are over for great customer service. Once Honda went to CVT and turbo, my next car will be a used 2018 Camry SE.
2018 Toyota Camry ,Toyota definitely designed this with passion for once. I'm extremely impressed with it. I think it's safe to say this car is a Lexus with a Toyota badge. I am JJ working Regency Toyota in Vancouver.
Thanks for your thorough review. I currently own a 2012 SE. This 2018 SE is a huge step forward. Previously I was thinking of getting the RAV4 but after seeing the new Camry will be getting the 2018.
Been in my new CamSE for a few weeks now....Coming from the Passat TDI polluter..:)...This is a dream to drive...I'm pretty EZ to please, however....And not a huge car guy...Ducatis are my thang....I have it in the BlueStreak...and its very EZ on the eyes... and its a puffy cloud to drive...Smooth, with a nice delivery of power for a 4banger....Nice acceleration and handling and overall comfortability is nicely done with user friendly ergonomics and feng shui....
Great work! Are you now to get your hands on the xse V6? When I watched your optima sxl review I stumbled upon the camry 2018 and I believe I might just got with the camry even though it lacks a few things the optima has. You have one of the best reviews and I will be sure to spread your channel across all my social media accounts! Great work!
I sat I a 2018 Camry SE yesterday and Toyota still has those uncomfortable seats. No forward and backward headrest adjustment or up and down lumbar support. Plus I hope they have more than one clock because in my wife's 2015 Camry you have to go back to the home screen every time to check the time. Kind of a nuisance. The car looks great and this video is great. The video is so clear you can see the cost cutting on certain materials especially the floor mats that are an option. Get weathertechs or husky floor mats. I had them remove it from the price of my wife's car just because I shouldn't have to be forced o pay for floor mats. I also see a lot of vibration on that motor. Love Toyotas I'm not hating on them, just saying don't come half stepping.
Just got a 2018 SE love it . I found one thing that bugs me : the silver trim along dash reflects onto the side Mirrors . My only complaint . Maybe I’ll try the trim cover they sell
I like the looks. The interior is nice as well. Not sure why they cheaped out on the led lights in the rear and no power passenger seat. The front is missing led fog lights.
One of the rare Japan built Camrys. Great job showing us the base model that will be the car most will buy or will rent. The idea behind the shape of the center dashboard comes from the 1996 Ford Taurus, only Toyota had to fit a square screen inside it. Not a clean look.
Do you think with the change in power steering that the steering will not loosen up as much as other vehicles over time or does the mechanical parts of the column have too much influence over it?

Checked out two of these cars the other day. I don’t know if it is because I’m small but one was much bigger than the other. I didn’t know they can come in different sizes. 🤔

Hey Mike this car does not have a turbo ? And what is the horse power and torque ?
no turbo, but there is a V6 with 301 hp and 267 lb-ft
Thank you Mike seems busy nowadays :)
I'm very impressed with the 2018 Camry, very sharp looking car.
R/T Wasp looks ugly
Quick Sipper The front has grown on me, I love it now.
front probably looks good if it's black
R/T Wasp I like Honda Accord but they have a big problem. The 2 Dr accord is still using a timing belt that should be changed every 60000 miles, and expensive service. I think the 4door accord is the same way.
ROB NAVAEI the 2.4 is chain driven while the 3.5 V6 is belt driven.
Saw this exact model in person today, really good looking car.

The 2018 Toyota Camry SE this is the exact car I’m getting 😍 much needed review thanks 💕
My mom has one if you’re just getting into sports cars this is the one because this is prob the strongest v4 ever made
@@Hellcat1320 S2000 is but I have the same car and it’s awesome. The adaptive cruise is like driving a Tesla.
I'm in love with these 2018-2024 Toyota Camry's sedans now and this used 2018 Camry SE is my choice I can afford Mike.
possibly the best sedan out there in all segment.. Im a Honda Accord fan but just ugly my opinion the Camry will win in sales!
Edrick Mendez I think the new accord looks better but lacks in power and torque
Quick Sipper yeah I know..dont get me wrong i also like Hondas but the 2 things I don't like of the Accord its the shape of the car, taillights and no V6 👎👎
Quick Sipper still likely to be faster, though.

ummm toyota owns lexus though. soooo lexus drivers are just driving expensive overpriced toyotas.

when i saw this car in the dealership today i fell in love and bought it today cash i got the blue streak metallic so i have 2 camrys 2010 and 2018
Mark Magtoto 2 best camry models congrats i love my 07.

Mark Magtoto bought mine today. I really struggled between the blue and the white. In the end, the white had a roof and the blue at the dealer didn’t so I came home with white. No regrets
SURPRISE Redesigned 2018 Toyota Camry SE
I really like the new switchblade key fob... I hope they carry it over to the tundra and 4runner!
Alex Tran It's only on the lower end trims.
Looking at this 2018 Camry SE makes me regret buying my 2015 Camry SE 3 years ago. Who agrees?
Reygan Agcaoili you know you can trade in you 2015 and get the 2018
Reygan Agcaoili Yes! Got rid of my 16, for an 18

I wished toyota would make passive entry with push button start standard in trims like many other manufacturers.
It is standard on other trims. www.toyota.com/camry/ebrochure
Nice, at 12:32 you can hear the engine switch from port fuel injection to direct injection.

This car is for sale in South Carolina.
Panchito actually made in Georgetown KY
it's made in America my friend, this car was designed in Texas.
Try to get your hands on a Camry with the red interior. I just bought a white 2018 Camry se with the red interior and it is an amazing car.

9:53 I noticed that Camry covers up the trunk hinges with black plastic, and a trunk shock. I don't think the new Accord have neither of it.
No rear seat power ports is disappointing. Otherwise it’s a great car and this engine has already proven to be reliable.
2018 Camry > 2018 Accord... and this is coming from a Honda fan and an Accord owner.
Baasil F. I agree accords are ugly
Quick Sipper Hey, watch it! The 2018* Accord is ugly lol
+ Quick Sipper Id have to disagree Camry's have looked terribly ugly until now, the Accords have been known for being stylish except for this year.
John Dough looks like Camry went for Nascar edition, fake vents, stick on headlights, all of it.
STFU, don't even link your name as a honda fan..

💛awesome Video like always💛

It was over 100 degrees when I filmed this :)
Do you think with the change in power steering that the steering will not loosen up as much as other vehicles over time or does the mechanical parts of the column have too much influence over it?

Hey @MikesCarInfo I'm looking at this 2018 Camry SE vs the 2017 Accord Sport
I watched your reviews on both but cannot decide. Either one will only be mine for 3 years. What would you buy?
Checked out two of these cars the other day. I don’t know if it is because I’m small but one was much bigger than the other. I didn’t know they can come in different sizes. 🤔
There should be a button under the camry logo toward the right side where you have the trunk release button. Just a heads up
Yes higher trims have that.
Damn good review
Kind of odd that the SE trim which isn’t the basic or the second to basic trim still doesn’t have heated outside mirrors. Especially in a 2018 model.
Just got mine today!
Can you please do a video of a Chevrolet 2500 Duramax diesel ? Thank you!
I think toyota should've made rain sensing wipers optional on the Le and se and standard on the Xse and xle
Toyota should offer full LED headlights on all trim levels. Not just the higher ones.
mike You are the best
