Sounds like it's only running on one cylinder. Put your hand behind both pipes and feel if the air coming from them is the same amount of air pressure. If not, one cylinder is either blown up or not running. Under load it doesn't have enough power. My guess is that the valves need to be checked, and carbs need to be synced and tuned. change spark plugs, gas, and make sure both plugs are getting spark. Let me know if you need any help. I work on motorcycles and have a channel where I ride/fix bikes.

@@channingsibbs3442 yeah carbs are definitely not opening at the same time. Timing could be off too.
@@carsonsfirewood5468 could be that a few are fouled, and a few of them are fine causing the engine to run weird, hence the no idle and poor acceleration/power.

If they’ve messed with the Carb and didn’t set the jets, then it’s either not getting enough fuel or it’s getting to much so that’s why when you shift it cross out.

"Snail Trail" get those carbs rebuilt, throttle repositioned, and get that timing down, maybe new spark plugs, you'd be set

1. Throttle cable needs to be adjusted
2.Carb idler jet probably needs to be cleaned this explaining the no idle
3. Missfire would be new plugs and/or ignition timing is off.

The carbs need synchronized. Probably could use a fresh set of plugs from how rich it's running.
What's up Flair!! I'd recommend checking your fuel pressure first and then making sure the carburetor is cleaned up and adjust the air/fuel mixture screw as well as making sure the throttle cable turning the throttle body open. If you have any more questions feel free to ask! I've had good deal of automotive experience and I would be more than happy to help you out! Missing means its misfiring.
Its probably a CB 750 and they can have a ton of issues as soon as you remove the stock air box, change the exhaust, or mess with the carbs. You need to find someone who knows how to jet the carbs properly and synchronize them for whatever it is they did to it.

I think I'd start with a motorcycle dealer to get the engine running right. Then a skid steer dealer to get the hydrostatic drive corrected.
I think as old as it is that it's chain driven .....I'd clean the fuel out new filter and clean the carb again

Check for Fuel!! The 3 things an engine needs Spark, Air, Fuel make sure fuel is clean, carbs are clean ans in sync!! Great video!!

Definitely check the carburetor floats. If they fill with gas and do not "float" the thing wont come even close to running right. Good way to test that is remove the carb float bowl, pull the float pin out, and give the float a good shake. If there's gas in it, then there's your problem. This will also happen when Fuel/Air mixture screw isn't set properly, or has debris on the end of the tip of it. Also make sure choke isn't on. Good-luck!

"missing" means the timing is off...definitely need to have a tune up done...at least change the spark plug (make the gaps are right) check the position of distributor cap...and check/change the plug wires...It looks and steers like it's made mainly for the water anyway so even if it's running like a top I wouldn't expect it to "fly" on solid ground...
That's not what it means. It could be a cause of a missfire but that is not a misfire In itself. A misfire is a cylinder not firing at all.

Correct Jimmy large, but as I said improper timing isn't the definition of a misfire.
Misfire is caused by malfunctioning of the electrical components (spark plugs, wires, bobbins, alternator, etc). Other thing, and my hunch is that is the main reason for the problem is a that the engine timming is off. Good luck with that.

Check the spark plugs then run some seafoam through the gas tank that will work also find the air fuel screw on the carburetor and twist it to adjust it while its running that should help
If it don't got a carburetor you're going to ruin the motor and that's why it might be cutting out or maybe your gas line is bad and it's not getting enough gas oh and another thing make sure it has plenty of oil and change the oil regularly and make sure you get the right oil and if none of those work idk man I tried

Syc the carbs then tune it but check the diaphragms in the top of each carb for any cracks in the rubber make sure the springs are good too sounds like one or two isn’t opening up like it should that’s where you get your random pick ups from

Carbs sound like they are out of sync they aren’t all opening at once making it cut out take it to someone who knows about motorcycles or a shop
Buy the electrified poultry netting from premier one. Starter kit comes with a solar charger. It works great for the chicken run. Also your hope for 6 eggs a day, out of those breeds, is pretty high.
