    I built a aluminum front deck extension on my 94 express bass boat I used aluminum 4x8 1/16 thick used 1.5 tubing and angle aluminum fasters were rivets and bolts hatches off of a cajin bass boat wich I got off of ebay same style as my boat has there all water proof I used aluminum because the boat has 0 wood in it

    Very nice build. How much more would you say it would have cost to use aluminum rather than plywood? Again great job!

      I would have to look at tiny boat nations website but it took 2 8ft prices for the top deck and one 8ft price fore the walls of the compartments.

    Hhhaaarrrd‼️ new subscriber here 🫡 Man this video just got me fired up for real! I’m looking to do the same thing after Christmas. I appreciated the content no doubt. I was looking to see how to message you about the boat details, but I couldn’t figure it…

    Great job man. That's a lot of work. Curious about the rivet attachment you found on amazon for your drill.

    • @CastingWithCJ
      @CastingWithCJ  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah it’s an attachment that the drill chuck latches onto and has a handle you hold so it can work like a normal rivet gun but it’s super cheap it also came with different sizes for whatever type of rivet your using.

    Wow, Great Job! You mentioned in the video the name of the company where you got the aluminum framing from. What is the company name/link?

    Thinking about doing something similar, what size trolling motor did you get and what did you do for batteries?

    • @CastingWithCJ
      @CastingWithCJ  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have a 12v 55lb thrust minn kota on it and I run one battery for that. I’m posting an update video soon with the new rear motor that runs on 3 lithium batteries

      @@CastingWithCJ awesome thanks! How many ah is it? And how long during the day does it last? I know that depends on conditions but just looking for a rough average if I do something like this.

    • @CastingWithCJ
      @CastingWithCJ  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@midwest_finesse11fishingch47 I use a deep cycle lead acid for my trolling motor and it lasts all day I’ve never had it die and if you wanted a lithium I bet you could get a couple days worth of use out of a 100ah.
