Adcc rule set is interesting because it encourages activity but it’s sort of the case that going for a sub can almost be deterred. No reason to attempt a submission when you can’t pressure in, move side to side, disengage and repeat
ngl been watching the b team jiujitsu training and he's never goofing off or playing around. Ethan and the rest who lost makes no sense. They are literally the best competitors and should have easily won their respected divisions.
@@tommyrq180 no shit, I wrestled too bro. If you wrestle like that everyone gonna think of you as a punk. The really good wrestlers don’t do all the dirty shit. They still fight hard and aggressive. But that is not standard my guy.
@@hawaiianpunch808 if you wrestle like that during training yeah but they're literally competing bro. this is a contact sport, snapties and collar ties are gonna be harsh lmao
I wonder what the B-Team thinks of Dorain training with them and then beating the B-Team branded guys(Ethan), meanwhile he aligns himself with his own team, Team Olivarez. I have a feeling they are going to tell him he needs to fall under the B-Team flag or stop training there.
Downright awful and ignorant take. Craig himself publicly supports Dorian doing exactly what he's doing and repping his dad. Crosstraining makes beasts. Dorian trains all over the place, his dad's gym, B team, 10p Austin, Standard, and there's zero responsibility to fly a certain gym's flag. The best just want to train together and get better.
It's called conflict of interest, genius. These guys are all professional grapplers who do this for a living. Cross-training is great and all but but not when you are building up your competitor. Dorian beat Ethan, possibly taking food out of Ethan's mouth, that might not have been the case if if hadn't trained at B-Team. Meanwhile B-Team doesn't even get any promotional benefit from Dorian's win. For a guy in the medical field, I'm surprised you are that dense. Let me know if you need me to draw some pictures for you, so you can understand better @@randomd00d17
A star in the making. Dorian is a beast
Watching this live was something else, props off to Mejia he a beast
I didn't know mehia, incredibly skilled!
come on aliceman, spell its name right
Where the match of Dorian vs Ethan

Yea, every ruleset has its downsides.
And yet the matches are more entertaining
stop hiding your monthly subscription for BJJ before a big event, and lower the price. UFC fight pass is 10$ a month you crooks. Great match dorian!
Dorian bringing over that Iowa-style wrestling pressure. Not a suprise he won
Dorain is obviously phenomenal for 17, but Mejia was incredibly impressive and I didn't even know who he was.
17 and on the bomba
BEAST !!!!!
Mejia is so good a true Bjj practitioner and great wrestling skills
The juice is real
10 minutes of the most beautiful agile jiu jitsu I've seen. Followed by the shittiest backflip I've ever seen

Clearly they're not the best. You just think that because you only watch them train, there's better competition out there.
Anyone can get it
Dorian punching with his collar ties looks a punk move.
cyborg has entered the chat
It’s not the punch up that gets you. It’s the pull down, or the back of the head part. Sort of standard in the wrestling room.

Are you gunna post Helena match?
Meija got an incredible guard tho
It looks like you'd have better luck grappling water than Mejia
He is slippery. But in that last minute he strangely lost his elusive edge. Maybe gas and pressure got him.
Meija should’ve kept wrestling - he was out wrestling Dorian until he pulled guard and got passed.

He’s a wrestler. I don’t think it’s issues. He probably going to do mma, at some point.

@@randomd00d17 yea I don’t get bjj culture as much. Since I view it as an individual and team sport. I get what you mean
This kid needs to be studied in a lab not let loose in jiu jitsu tournaments
These dudes are bums none of them can wrestle. Great jiu jitsu tho. But bruh a high school wrestler is winning trials lmao jiu jitsu down horrendous
