I want to defend the camera man here. Imagine you are watching that, with your jaw hanging down, amazed at what you're seeing. Are you going to watch the incredible arm bar defense, amazed, or are you going to make sure you're filming it right? I think he did what all of us would have done : He lost track of time and space and tried to soak in what he was seeing.

He did but he was fighting injured in the match, should've tapped out but youthful exuberance and adrenaline got the better of him this he can't properly defend a RNC due to an injured arm.

This is a great match, but I wouldn't call it the greatest BJJ match ever. There are too many that come to mind. Also, some people are acting like Kron overcame great odds to win... Well, he did finish in fasion, but he was also the favorite in this match. Gary is relatively new at black belt and he's still young. But he did an awesome job and nearly pulled off the upset.
IMO thats what makes it so great a young fresh black belt nearly defeated Kron, imagine how crazy it would have been if he finished him

what a great, entertaining fight...props to gary tonon, he gave Kron a run for the money. Props to Kron with that beautiful, pure jiu jitsu game. This is one of those fights (along with Jacare Almeida) that sets the bar for jiu jitsu matches

What match were you watching? Kron while having some difficulty dominated that match. Gary got the back and tried to hold on but Kron had too much skill in defending his back. For most of the match it was Gary who was in trouble, not Kron. Gary is an exceptional talent but Kron is an extra exceptional talent. Great fight
