It's been 6 months since I tried a thrifted mystery box, but I saw a tiktok highlighting this vintage shop and I just had try it! The pieces they sell were very coquette with slips, soft florals, and lace! I ended up getting the middle tier ($75 for 7 pieces) and I'm shocked!!

I wanted to mention that the seller has a no cancellation policy so I don't know if I just bought mine at a bad time or not (in regards to it taking so long to ship), but at one point I thought about just cancelling it and realized I wouldn't be able to. The gingham dress looks like it's handmade, which might explain the strange proportions. If you know a tailor/seamstress they may be able to adjust the top for you.

I don’t think the wait was too long, especially since it included shipping(?)! I’d rather have sellers take more time building up nice bundles like yours, than rush to meet a deadline. I’ve seen to many disappointing unboxings lol!
Obviously, a seller should communicate clearly during the process if the timeframe changes!
Technically with shipping & taxes it came to $79 😅 yeah it taking longer is definitely preferred if they are really putting in time to curate it but yeah I just wish they would have communicated that without me having to reach out 😭
I think they did capture the overall feel of your style. The pieces were cute! My fave was the baby doll tee! I agree I would prefer no accessories and the wait time was soooo long!
I think thats such a bargain! Might not be as cheap as thrift store prices, you essentially got a personal shopper and personal stylist which is usually sooo pricey, so I reckon it’s a super good deal, and you got cute things!!

Maybe it’s my age talking 😬 But it made me laugh how excited you are about slip yet don’t think of using it for it’s intended purpose, for under things that are shear! If you put it under the white dress then it won’t be shear and the lace at the bottom will just slightly show out the bottom. Super cute. Also, I really like the red dress on you, just needs some alterations.

Try the first white shirt or the lace crop top over the red gingham dress to see if you like it better? I would definitely say that the pieces she picked without precise measurements for you look like they are all your style (from a regular viewer perspective)! Also, I thought the time it took to get to you is justified because of how well she did!

The 'skirt' is an underskirt and is a form of underwear. It's meant to be worn under a see-through skirt/dress. It made me chuckle for it to be viewed as a skirt!! It's like going outside in your knickers and wearing them as shorts!😂
The red gingham (pronounced 'ging-gum') dress will look amazing on you once altered! The style box was good!

White skirt - just put new elastic! Easy cheap fix and gingham looks so cute on you! If you want to edit it maybe make it a two piece ?
Maybe she doesn't even need to put a new elastic. It looks like she could just shorten or taking in the elastic a little.
Alexa, if you'd like with the red gingham dress, you could always turn it into a two piece and add a zipper to the skirt or add a sinched part to the top, or just keep it as a dress as is, but alter the straps where you can sinch it in more that it'll fit you properly!
The first thing, the white lace in the bottom "skirt" is a slip! You actually wear it under dresses or skirts. In case we didnt know! But wear it however you'd like!
The red gingham dress could use some darting in the back and front to give more structure. Definitely keep it just have to get it tailored ❤

A mystery box that actually works for you is a rare gem. You could add extra fabric to the sides of the gingam dress if you don't like bodycon.

For the red gingham - you could always do a milkmaid style with it! If you cut a slit under the bust , dart the lower section to fit then gather the upper section down. It would def need a zip or something to get on/off but it would fit you and your style more!

Very cute bundle! I do agree as a seller myself I always communicate with buyers on shipping and give tracking info. Even if there is a delay such as weather it’s better to tell the buyer before they have to ask ! I might layer the sheer lace piece over a strappy sundress or over a long line bralette with trousers and a cute cardigan or a long flowy skirt. 🩵🍒🩵🍒

You should make yourself a little white, off white, or nude slip dress that you can wear under see through items. If you can sew a straight line, it is very easy to do and it will be so practical. Maybe even make a small cami and a mini slip skirt as well, just so your bases are covered.

I was just wondering if its not too much of a hassle, could you lower the exposure a little bit when you show pieces to the camera? i know you want good lighting, but also it sometimes makes the pieces washed out and we can't see the detailing and such! otherwise i love your videos so much and they inspire me and my wardrobe! :)

I would turn the red gingham dress into a two piece set! ☺ The bottom half of the dress seams a little too tight and long. just cut the dress in the middle. Then the top being a bit loose looks cuter because it´s a crop top. And the skirt part can now sit higher on you, therefore there‘s more room for your hips and it becomes shorter ☺ i hope that makes sense ❤

In Britain we would call the first item a petty coat that would make another skirt less see through. And the white dress I think may be a night gown. Very interesting though.
It kinda makes sense that it took a while when you take in the fact that they really considered your style and had to find all the pieces that fit it. The 2 weeks was probably just the shipping time. But it seems like they literally looked for pieces that fit your style and waited for the right pieces versus sending in what they had.
