Me, too, but there aren’t cardinals in California or most of the West. We first saw them when we lived in Ohio (where there are a lot of interesting birds) , then, none on the West Coast, but now in the Upper South, we have cardinals and lots of other pretty birds, which I like.

I really think some mystery thrift boxes are legit scams like just peoples garbage or things they would’ve donated otherwise
hm... the fact that some of these items weren't washed before they were shipped out (for a hefty sum!! wth!) is a weird thing for the sellers to do. whenever i donate my clothes i ALWAYS give them a good wash because i know i hate it when i pick up something off the racks at the thrift to look at it and it has a bad stain or a weird smell on it. nasty.
As a reseller, I am honestly a bit appalled by the quality of the items as a whole. I understand these are secondhand, but I’m curious to know if so many flaws were mentioned to you before purchase? It just doesn’t seem like whoever packed this box put much thought into it. 😅
I was thinking the same thing. A lot of those items I would never resell because the quality is not very good and they are dirty.
i’ve purchased from this place before and can attest that they don’t inform you if you’ll be receiving very worn items with stains and such. i know on their website they state that there’s grade A and B items and grade B can have stains and such but they don’t tell you what grade of items you’ll be getting. i’ve gotten some items that were veryyy stained and worn to the point where i don’t see them as wearable and spent all that money for me to just not keep it :(

Hey Alexa! I vote try dying the Mickey sweatshirt a light color if you hate the cream. Also it is classic vintage Minnie Mouse that you see her bloomers. It’s part of her regular outfit. Think it’s kinda like the bloomer shorts trend now. I agree with your overall assessment of the thrift boxes
This haul can be described by an obligatory "womp womp". Mystery anything is a gamble I'm not willing to take in this current economy. Fun to see someone else go through it 😅 love the sweater at the end!
I sooo remember seeing the “Schmidt House” sweatshirts! They were prominent in the early 90’s malls. Yes, it’s a little crass but I bet there are plenty of people (older than you) who fondly remember it.
I loved so much of the stuff you felt lukewarm about. That is ok because I imagine you are saturated with these clothes so you need them to be a wow.
Definitely keep the Tweety shirt. The color and fit looked perfect on you and it is adorable!

I actually loved the scar tee and the cardinal Christmas sweatshirt! These mystery boxes are definitely hit or miss though. I feel like they’re not really worth all that money!
I actually like the things you got from this haul, especially the disney sweaters/crewnecks. Some of them are really vintage (has the vintage mickey/minnie on it)!

I love watching these types of videos, it’s fun! Honestly I'd be interested in trying this company but only on sale. They seem to hit the mark or close to it, even though at the end of the day personal taste varies so much. Everything looked pretty cute, the hoodies looked cozy! I'm more into Looney Toons over Disney so I'm partial to the Tweety bird crewneck!
You could try dying the sweatshirt and the light wash jeans to get a different color! Also for the last jeans you could try getting them wet with hot water and then letting them air dry to see if they stretch out! Hopefully that helps :) ❤

I just think it's so weird that they'd make a mystery box where you can't give them your specific measurements or sizes (unless you buy the specific box for that). seems like they know there's a chance ppl will get ill fitting items but are too busy/lazy/uninformed to care?
I've seen a lot of people buy them for inventory for their second hand shops. Otherwise I think it would be weird to buy a box of clothes that won't fit.
They are for resellers, so it includes all dif sizes because it's not for one single wearer.
Idk, call me crazy, but I'd rather see a video where you find clothes you actually love!! I do like to see the mystery box videos, but I feel like everyone is always so let down by them? The whole point of a mystery box, imo, is to be surprised by what is in the box and if that mystery and allure is gone for you, then maybe it's time to try something new. :)

I'm not sure if they would be your style but I would recommend cropping some of the sweatshirts (and/or t shirts) Also, I just wanted to say that if you don't like cartoon or Disney t-shirts, or they are not your style, you could've chosen a different category (I'm saying this because I feel like for Disney and cartoon clothing, there is a higher percentage for you to get something you don't like, since it is a very specific character or movie, unlike other t shirts where you don't necessarily have to like the band (or college) to wear the t shirt/sweatshirt, and they look more vintage overall. I don't know if other categories were sold out then, since it was Black Friday, but I did see some vintage categories on the website that may have been a better choice, or at least would've had a higher percentage of getting something better. ( the pro sports & college categories, especially the jackets, and the denim jackets also looked nice )
The Lion King is my favorite Disney movie and I still wouldn’t wear the Scar tee haha I like him as a villain but I’d rather wear a cuter character like Simba or Nala. A vintage Nala tee would be right up my alley.
I must have a bird bias because my favorites were the cardinal sweatshirt and Tweety. What I can't believe is that we used to wear jeans that tight in the 80s. All cotton, no spandex. Why did we do that?
