Great job 👍
Appreciate the feedback ♥️
Very nice build 😊 subscribed
Thank you for the feedback and sub!
nice setup, this would be worth re-upload with fixed audio gain, i can barely hear with all available gain to me maxed out.
You will see this happen in the next day or so 😬
Reuploaded!

Dont use flame on heat shrink. A hair dryer works fine
It’s never let me down before. Been doing it for years.
Wireless mike?
There an audio fixed updated version of it 💯
no sound?
It’s coming across very quiet from the edit. I’m going to reupload very soon! Max out all your Audio settings and you’ll probably hear me in the back of the box 🤣
Good option would be to use a RAK board with the nRF52840 chip. A Heltec will run down a 18650 battery in a day where as the RAK can last up to a week with a single battery.
Thank you for your comment. I have recently replaced 2 of my fixed nodes,
Including my solar with Raks for that exact reason. I used the Heltec in this as it was kicking around as a spare from when it got pulled out. Got a few more Raks on order to replace this one too 💯
@@G1JOB Where can I get a RAK Board from? I'm also using a Heltec V3 as a repeater but it is not too sensitive
Ive used Pi Pico + waveshare as my repeater nodes they have a very lower draw and about 90ma on TX. Last for days and days!
@@HillTreks direct from their site. Comes in a few weeks but you’ll notice the improvement! Have an update video for my solar node, which I’ve just upgraded to Wisblock. I’m just doing the edit on it, hopefully be uploaded this week 🤞🏼link for the Wisblock below. Make sure you select EU868 on the dropdown.

@@2e0txe I’ve heard many good things about the Pi Pico. I’ve only used it as a DMR hotspot. Maybe I’ll do an upgrade to a Pico and test it out. Appreciate your comment 💯
I have everything I need to put up my outside self powered mesh repeater/client to keep in touch with me family and I have a beautiful day out there but of course I am sick this week amd by the time I feel better it will be nasty out. This Murphy guy that made up the law that screws us over when are looking forward to something is pretty mean… just saying
Please speak up 👂
Can't hear you.
Turn your volume up a bit! I'm new to the editing side. Still getting the hang of it :)
Same here, gave it a go but the various other noises that Windows makes meant I nearly shat myself with the volume on max 😂😂
@@dodgydd apologies! It has been noted and will be better in the next one 💯
Reuploaded!
