Hot glue works better for me. I only have one problem, finding the right charge controller that will cut off the battery when the sun goes down and then keeping the charge during the day. I have tried several with no luck. I use a 5 volt 6 watt panel. Have you found a good charger?

So with this one, there isn’t a solar charger. I use a separate charger that’s you load the batteries into it and it’s charges and cuts it’s out. If you see my other video, with the solar panel the controller I use with that is amazing. I upgraded the device to a Rak Wisblock shortly after and the node is still alive to this day.

3M double sided tape or chloroprene (yellow shoe glue) will last and work better than super glue.
A switch with a round screwed thread would be better than that big clunky 10A automotive switch.
Those vandal proof switches are ridiculous overkill, just get a $5 rubber boat console switch if it has to be waterproof.
Make sure all your batteries are identical brand, capacity, condition & voltage, because you're not using a load balance charger.
A $10 Boya lapel mic and a 10yr old android phone would solve all your audio problems very cheaply !

Hey boss, where is the solar panel. Maybe better join it, when power infrastructure is off. We need alternative. Think about this. In my city we buildings independent Meshtastic system whith solar panel, and battery. 73
