      +Michael Flatman He fix it by accident by adding some stuff on the plywood. The said led, battery and other stuff has weight that fixes the balance of the plywood.

    Hey that's a good soldering tip right there 3:36 to put heat from the iron onto the long leads of the resistor as you're putting them up through the holes.

    You could also set up two of them on each side of the propeller with just different LED-s, so you can make a clock illumnator with differently colored pointers and numbers or an image illuminator like this one

    Theres only 1 thing I would change on this design, and that's to add 2 washers and little metal brushes to bypass the battery, then you could modify the mains cord and put a 5v power supply on it, connect it to the brushes and bam, whenever you plug the fan in, the LEDs will turn on.

    It's probably better suited to do propeller POV displays using rotatory encoders or step-by-step/servo motors since you don't have to track RPM or have the kind of problems you found in this build. It also allows you to have control of where you want the text to show at any time instead of it just spinning around.

    now all you need to do is make a coil and a capacitor to charge as it rotates, either recharge the battery on the fly, or even eliminating it completely...awesome build!!!

    Nice Project! Although I would have used a wireless power Transmission unit so I wouldn't need to charge the battery anymore. Probably a Future project idea? Building such a unit would be educational, pretty cheap and there are tons of good usage for it, like this project here.

    For your to-do list: a cycloconverter using triacs or thyristors. A cycloconverter lowers the AC frequency.

    You should do a video on what somebody needs to start into electronics, what tools you use and if you recommend them (eg: what soldering iron you use)

    Enjoyed it. It would have been nice to have a portion dedicated to how to test the led & programming without actually building the blade and spinning it, if that is possible. Also, would have been nice to have you make the blade in a 3d printer, provided you had access. Expanding the concept to wifi/app update like the 'lametric' product would also be nice. Thank you for your work.
