I'm so happy for you! I enjoyed your podcast today while sewing :-) It's always a pleasure. I went to a retreat last sure and had the time of my life. It was so much fun
One of my favorite things to do was to attend a knitting retreat. I met so many new people and learned a lot about knitting. I really enjoy your podcast.
Congratulations on the 1000. That takes considerable effort. A very generous prize for some lucky retreat person. I love all your tips and tricks for moving our projects along.
I never doubted you would reach 1,000 subscribers. Sunday evening with you is like spending time with a creative friend. With such a basket of yarn, I would have to retreat to my recliner for the winter! Okay, several winters 😂
Congratulations on 1,000 subscribers! I love your podcasts, and I'm happy so many others do too. 😊 I've never been to a knitting retreat, but try to get to a spinning retreat every couple of years. They're so much fun! ❤ Tamantha
I love how your foggy Christmas yarn is knitting up. It will be a beautiful sweater. The little bird is so cute. Congratulations on 1000 subscribers. It is amazing how much yarn you have received at your retreat.
Congrats on 1,000 subscribers. I shook my head and smiled at more yarn coming IN. Your destash basket may balance things out a bit 🤪. I have minimal to no stash and buy as I need. Each to their own, right? Loved all your progress. Hubbies sweater is definitely going to be bold. I hope the colours are wash stable 😱. Your sweater from mum’s wool is lovely, you’ll look great in it. We had sirens going by as I watched your video - stereo 😂🤩. See you soon. 🤗 - Isabel 🇨🇦
Thank you! I'm going to do all the calculations on in and out shortly, lol. Everybody finds what works for them. :) I think the motorcycle sweater will be ok for washing since it's commercial yarn, but I'll use color catchers anyway! When I was reviewing the episode for notes on a headset, when the sirens went off I started looking outside again, lol. Can't wait to wear my Harvey Wallbanger for an episode!
I knew you would get that 1000!!! So happy for you. I retreat. So your husband bird color should be blue. Need I say more. When he poses for picture in the completed motorcycle sweater he can have pipe in one hand and blue bird of happiness in the other. It would be fantastic! The Frost shawl will be gorgeous.
Congrats on hitting 1000+ subscribers! That’s fantastic 🎉. I love your Ravello and can’t wait to see that out for the cooler weather plus your new Thea Colman finish. Super fun to see some yarns from local-to-you dyers. They are all beautiful!
Congratulations on 1K Subscribers 🎉 I would love to join you in the new year knitting a Stephen West blanket following your spreadsheet to make it more manageable! It seems that there are lots of goodies at each Retreat you've been to ... ❤ Susannah
Glad that you picked a Bare Naked Wool skein about the same time your barn box came...have to say that I am tempted by that Black Welsh Mt! Love your Harvey Wallbanger and your year-long blanket - both look great. We think alike about the "chicken yarn" - just before you said "I think this will make a great chicken" I was thinking the same thing. Congratulations on 1K subscribers, Anna. Since I just went through my mom's stash, I'm gong to avoid the magic word, but what a lovely way to curate your stash.
Thank you! I need to make one more chicken for Christmas, they're such a fun quick knit and I swear, it's in my mind every skein I look at lol. Highly recommend trying out Bare Naked Wools, such a rich color, they always tempt me to start something right now! :D
Congratulations on your 1000th subscriber! I have never been on a retreat, but it sounds like a wonderful way to meet new knitters and learn new skills.

Congratulations on reaching 1000 subscribers! I have never been to a knitting retreat but hearing you talk about your experiences really makes me want to go to one.
Congratulations on 1000 subscribers! I love your ideas for going ahead with monetizing your videos. I never heard of knitting retreats until I started watching your videos. I’m definitely going to look into them 😊
Thank you! Definitely check with you local yarn stores, there are at least 3 here in Ohio that do annual retreats, and a couple at very reasonable prices. They are so fun.
My knitting group annual knitting weekend retreat is October 13-15. We rent a cabin for 15 people at a local state park on the Tenn River. Congratulations on reaching 1000 subscribers.
Another great episode. Congrats of your 1K subscribers! Love your woolly yarn purchases - that blue-grey yarn is beautiful. Looking forward to attending a RETREAT sometime!
Thank you! Glad you found my little videos! I definitely have fun with my random picks - really upped my knitting mojo - but I'm a puzzle person at heart too, so it works for me. :)
Absolutely love all your projects and your podcast. You always have so much information and I find that really helpful and interesting ✨ I’ve never been to a knitting retreat before but would love to do one at some point!
Congratulations on reaching your 1000 subscribers target! It's not surprising really as your podcasts are always interesting and spark so many ideas. I'm in the UK and the weather here is awful, so bad that I wish I could get away on a retreat, maybe to Ohio? Enjoy your success and here's to subscriber number 2000 😊
Thank you! I'm am coming to the Knit & Ramble retreat next year in Cornwall, very excited about that. There are several retreats in the spring here, I should list them in my notes - I'll do that next episode. :)
Hi Anna. Congrats on 1,000 subscribers! It has been fun watching your videos and seeing your projects. I recently joined a local knitting group that will be having a “retreat” next spring in Northern MN. I am such a homebody but after hearing you talk about how much you enjoy them, I may need to break out of my shell and give one a try.
Thank you! We get up to the St. Paul area each year, Minnesota is so lovely! I bet northern MN would be amazing! It really is lovely to hang out with a group who all love knitting. :)
Congrats on 1000! You’re such an inspiration! I started a Slipstravaganza blanket because you made it seem so obtainable! We have a knitting retreat coming up in my state and it sounds so fun! I’m hoping to be able to go one day

The Jimmy Beans one was amazing - they've got their dates for next year already I think, but not sure it's up on the site yet, might be worth an email. I am totally hooked on doing Retreats, it's just so great to hang out with a big group of knitters!
