This one takes me back. I went to Roger Hodgson's house (the singer) once in Nevada City CA. He wasn't there but a young lady invited me there, one night, in 1983. I think she may have been house-sitting. That's my only Supertramp story...other than I did own a couple of their albums back then. And yes...you look flawless today. As always♥

Born in 2001 but older music from the 1930s till 1990s is what I was grown up on and how blessed I am. Wish I could have experienced these songs in there prime. I’m still waiting on the review of big log by Robert Plant!:) Great review as always!

Supertramp are great. Ive been listening to them since their first breakthrough songs when i was a kid. Their lyrics are always super insightful but paired with a kind of innocent sounding musical arrangement the effect is often amazingly powerful. ‘Goodbye stranger’ is one of those songs, as is the Logical Song. By the way, have you seen any super tramp videos? They were always 70s glam flamboyant - massive platform boots, sequins, huge afros. They are worth watching when you listen to them.

I loved this song and the whole Breakfast in America album when it came out and still do. As a bit of an audiophile in the 80s and 90s, this would be always be one of the songs I would like to play to show off equipment.

I have been fortunate enough to have seen Supertramp “The Tramp” Live 3 times. Their live shows are a spectacle and brilliant. Each member is a musical genius. Rick Davies is my favorite keyboards player and John Helliwell is favorite Sax player. He is a blast to watch live. The bass and drummer are awesome and Roger’s guitars are superb. The only live show I put above Supertramp is Pink Floyd, who I have seen 3times.
