Love this song! Supertramp were a great English rock band formed in 1969. They had so many hit songs in the 70's-80's such as "Breakfast In America", "Goodbye Stranger", "Take The Long Way Home", "Dreamer", "It's Raining Again", "Bloody Well Right", "Give A Little Bit", "My Kind Of Lady", "Cannonball", "I'm Beggin' You", "You Win, I Lose" etc.

Most of the Supertamp songs are like this: superficially nice to sing along, but on closer inspection very deep. As a non-native speaker, I was able to get to know Supertramp twice.

Well, I'm officially deeming this reaction a perfect one. You've got all the right ingredients involved. One of the greatest songs ever recorded, a loving couple enjoying music together, lots of smiles and that adorable bickering with love. Awesome, keep up the great work you two, the world needs you & music now more than ever. ☮️🎵🧠

One of the most underrated bands ever. These guys were fantastic, & Rodger Hodgson a genius. This entire album is full of terrific songs, not a bad one at all with some really good lyrics throughout (& the sax & harmonica!). Hope you do many more! (& I agree with you, there is very little civil discourse today. People disagree with you & want to shout you down instead of discuss). Your smiles said it all…how great this song is.😊

This was the lead single from the album "Breakfast in America", one of the few albums in the world to have sold more than 20 million copies. It was the high point and, simultaneously, the beginning of the end of Supertramp. After the world tour they recorded another album, but things between them were already going badly and soon after Roger Hodgson, one of the two composers / singers of the band (the one who wrote and sang The Logical Song), left Supertramp. The other members tried to continue on their own, with poor results and then tried, in vain, to convince Hodgson to return. Roger continued and still continues to perform and this is still one of the most requested songs by the public

YES!! After Floyd and Dire Straits we get Supertramp. Please go down the Supertramp rabbit hole you'll truly love it. I remember seeing Floyd at Earls Court and a couple of weeks after, seeing Supertramp at the Royal Albert Hall and Scott Page was playing Sax on stage at both concerts. Fab!
You will love the song "School" both lyrically and musically, again the production is superb, almost Floyd like.... enjoy.

Andrei was so cute when he realized that he had heard this song before. Don't worry Dominika, you probably aren't the only one who wishes not to have the responsibilities and bills that adults must endure. The sax in this song is spectacular! What a great song for you to react to. Have a great day! God Bless!🐢

Andrei knows this song longer and heard it many times, loves the song but doesn't know what it was about 😅 a bit like me for a very long time, and Dominika hears one time and straight away is onto the context, is very true what you say about how it could easily be applied to the way things are today Dominika, you two in my opinion are a beautiful couple, real people and I loved your reaction to this great song and others I have spent time watching with you both...thank you for being real and catch you on the next one....

Glad to see you are the only reaction channel that gets the lyrics. Supertramp was very progressive and forward-thinking part of the counterculture. Sadly, nowadays so much spin has ruined things...you are so correct when you say who speaks the loudest, same for the news channels, the one that speaks the loudest is the one that have been forced to admit lying over and over again to support one side of things. Yep, this song is fire for the music but the lyrics are HUGE for me.

Great reaction to a great song. I watched another video recently that explained that this is about the singer Rodger Hodgson's growing up as middle class and then getting sent to private school. It changed his view on everything as it is presented in the lyrics.. I hope I understood the story right and fact check me. LOL... I love watching other people react to the music that I grew up with👍. Keep up the great work.🍻🥂🇨🇦

you were explaining how you feel about being an adult and it sucks. The song "Hotel California" was written about the line you cross from adolescence to adulthood, and how you "can never leave", once you accept the responsibilities. There is no going back to childhood.
