when i retarget animation the character becomes stretched everywhere
love the guide. Altough a strange thing happened to me. The Head and hands of my model was like turned backwards. Everything else on it worked great. Im totally stumped everything looks allright in the bones..hm..

My rigged character from CGTrader with an A pose, I couldn't get the pose in the T position, so I repositioned the Mixamo rig to the A position, I got the animation working.

is it possible to retarget if the source armature has some bones missing? and the target bone has some extra bones?
even though i import with automatic bone rotations applied it will still retarget with a 90° angle and come out wrong. any help ?
edit: my target rig was parented under an empty which was turned 90° .. after applying rotation everything worked perfect

ok so my problem is that the target's hands after the retargeting are too close to the chest ( possibly inside it) and the dont move
What do you do when your retarget results in poor foot placement? My walking animation is floating a bit and only matches to the ground near the end of the step forward.
You can adjust those key frames all at once in the curve editor graph on the channel of the problem axis (z or y depending on the rig)

In the video you retargeted two armatures in T-Pose... Is it possible to retarget the animation data if the poses are slightly different? Say if one of them has elbows slightly forward or back?
In the Rokoko plugin, the poses should be the same before retargeting process.

Why didn't the source armature immediately snap back unto its original key framed position. I am confused as to why that happens sometimes and not others. And I understand adding empties to move around an already key framed armature but that source arm doesn't have one? And keyframes based on location orientation blah 😐 idk im noob

Bro rokoko plugin is not working in blender when I click the box for enable the plugin it get hang and showing blender not responding. So provide solution for this.

Thanks for getting with the times and offering some form of voice over, I would rather hear an Ai talking then have to pause every 5 seconds to read the subtitles. It's too common that people who don't have a mic or don't want to talk, will simply offer subtitles....nobody wants to read a video....lol
