"Revelations" is a slightly altered version of a passage from the Book of Revelation, which reads : And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more Death. Neither sorrow, nor crying. Neither shall there be any more brain; for the former things are passed away. The actual text (from Chapter 21, Verse 4) is nearly identical, except that it reads, "neither shall there be any more pain" rather than "brain", which was added as a pun on the album's title.

Ides of March bleeding into Wrathchild. I have the picture disc
Rue Morgue is my fav Maiden song of all time, has to be the Di'anno version though, Dickinson doesnt do the first two albums justice live.
@@rileysretirement-road3998 best two intos to an album ever is Ides of march and the Intro to Blackened on ... and justice for all
@@Monkeypole I always have thoughts on album intros... Scorpions, Love at First Sting album with the guitar intro to, Bad Boys Running Wild
"Killers" yes; "Murders In The Rue Morgue"...not so much.
Iron Maiden - Heaven can wait
Preston, you are a real gem and a gift to TH-cam! Can't get enough of your reactions. Love your honest and impassioned expressions when something hits you in the "feels!" Emotional fatalities abound!
And there's good reason you are loving the likes of Metallica, Maiden, Dio, Priest etc. They know how to excite and elicit emotion with their masterful arrangements and singing. BTW, have you done any Sabbath yet? Surely you know some Ozzy, but there are some legendary tracks you need to discover as they set the foundation for so many after.
Empire of the clouds
I CAN GO BACK WHEN THIS RECORD CAME OUT......BLEW ME AWAY...THE 80S WAS A MAGICAL TIME FOR MUSIC.

I can't choose my favorite Iron Maiden song because almost all of her songs are amazing.
Give great credit to Steve Harris the bassist!!!!
Bruce wrote this one.
He cribbed the intro verse from a hymn sung in English churches, written by Sir G.K. Chesterton.
Hell yea

WHERE EAGLES DAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE MAN!!! REACT TO THIS MASTERPIECE
This was one of the firsts Iron Mainden's song that I remember to listen back in 1993. I was impressed with the changes in the speed of the song, lyrics and music overall. This song thogether with Hallowed be Thy Name is one of my favorite Maiden song.
You should definitely so Empire of the Clouds from the Book of Souls Album👍

"Revelations" is a slightly altered version of a passage from the Book of Revelation, which reads :
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more Death.
Neither sorrow, nor crying.
Neither shall there be any more brain; for the former things are passed away.
The actual text (from Chapter 21, Verse 4) is nearly identical, except that it reads,
"neither shall there be any more pain" rather than "brain",
which was added as a pun on the album's title.
