    I just had to come back to this video and watch again. I’ve made this bag SOOO many times and in so many varieties. I put my own spin on it sometimes, changed up the fabric placements, etc, but of course when I first started out, I made it exactly as you showed. I guess I just wanted to let you know that I love this video and you taught me so much in this. I’ve made so many of these bags as gifts. I love that they open so wide. This zipper technique is a keeper! Thank you so much!

    Thank you SO much. After much searching, I finally found your tutorial which was what I needed for a friend's gift. She asked for the zipper to come out longer than the purse, with tabs and finding a tutorial that did that was difficult! I adapted this so that both ends of the zipper were longer, but the method is perfect, simple to follow, such a great way of presenting. I wish I found you sooner but now am subscribed - thank you!

    Thanks for the great tutorial. This was super fun to make, and you're a really good teacher. : ). One question, The blogpost gives the fabric measurement as 7" wide and 8" tall, but looking the pieces you're working with in the video, it looks like the width is larger than the height ... Is it supposed to be 8" w and 7" tall instead? Thanks!

    Great bag and great tutorial. I always learn a new trick from you. I have never put in one of these longer zippers but I will definitely make one of these pouches. QUESTION: What brand of clips do you have? I see many complaints that they break.

    • @Charmedbyashley
      @Charmedbyashley  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Aww that's wonderful!! I get mine from Ebay or Amazon, I found that if you open them up to wide they easily break, so I just don't do that and they work great Haha and considering where I am clover clips are insanely expensive its worth it to loose a few haha

    Very cute and easy bag. The only suggestion I would make is to be sure and leave the zipper unzipped when sewing the front and back and lining together; otherwise, you can't turn the bag. I had to undo a little bit of the side so I could get my zipper unzipped so I could turn it. Lesson learned.
