lol I bought the field artist one ONLY for the box since I was a little short at the time to pay the extra for the Schmincke. I did take out the pans right away and replaced them with the Daniel smith tube set I'd bought months prior. Haven't really had any issues with it. I don't use the flask part of the cup. I just wanted to look cool and like I knew what I was doing back then :P
Great review! I wish I had found it before I bought the Whiskey Artist field palette. Long story short, after 3 weeks with water in the reservoir, it rusted right through and leaked rusty water all over my other supplies I keep in my backpack. I should have never stored it with the water in it, but I thought it would be ok after just a couple of weeks.
I love these sets, but can not afford them. do you know of a viable alternative. which is not plastic? THANK YOU so much for sharing this video, I thought the Windsor Newton was the only one available and you have taught me otherwise today, I am grateful. HOWEVER, I looked. up the price of the Schmincke Horadam and am shocked, both over $50!!! I was. thinking of trying to make a handmade one out of some altoids tins, but just do not have the tools. If you have a resource to purchase for under $50, I would be grateful, Thank you
@@titasreddesk2866 thanks so much, I thought about trying to fashion one out of a couple of Altoids tins, but do not have the tools. Its always something LOL. I appreciate the time and energy spent on this, its too bad they are so expensive, I love producing art works and crafts, bu it takes forever to get the materials when living on a limited income. My best to you have fun and thanks for sharing your learning on TH-cam
