- I will be installing a pair of Marriage Saver rear muffler deletes to our VE SS. Theses are a direct replacement of the rear mufflers with no modifications needed.

Just fitted some on a vf calais, they dont sit as flush as yours. Sound great but the drone in my is annoying. Also getting a weird surge if i tap on the accelerator too.

Just fitted the dg10 marriage savers thanks to your video and replies buddy. My s1 calais v wagon sounds so much better 😎 super easy install, no jacking required. To anyone looking to enhance the sound of your 6ltr afm v8 ve s1, these sound great without being too intrusive. Just a nice note at idle and cruising along. Cabin noise is only increased very slightly and no drone as experienced with j pipes. When afm kicks in at freeway speeds you can hear the exhaust note change but imo it is not bad. When you put the boot in at the lights or at speed they sound terrific 👌😎 Thanks again mate, your video and replies were spot on.

I just bought a set today to replace our stock mufflers . Im pretty keen to put them on after watching this because videos never do them justice .
That is correct it is really hard pick up on the sound through a video, you will not be disappointed once there on.

hi everyone ,if anyone else wants to learn about how to save your marriage try Tarbally Marriage Saver Tactics (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my mate got amazing success with it.
great video easy to follow great job. just wondering i have a 2011 ve SS with amf how have you found the sound when it drops into 4 cylinder mode because i am looking at fitting an exhaust with out turning of the amf
There is no real noticeable difference when it drops back to four cylinders, I was worried about it droning. They sound great.

I've got the ve series1 calais v 6ltr afm wagon, it's quiet as 😆 I don't want anything crazy loud, just want it to sound like a v8 minus the drone(I see you addressed that cheers). My take is when AFM kicks in around town or under 80, it's acceptable.
Rapid exhaust are a bit cheeky here because drone is subjective but these DO DRONE at highway speeds with AFM engaged. I'm borderline considering a tune to eliminate AFM as a result.
If J pipes are apparently worse I have no idea how anyone lives with them.
I've done the carpet in the spare tyre well trick and it doesn't really fix it, although does minimise it a little bit.
BUT - in all other respects these are a fantastic muffler like this video shows and it sounds fantastic when in V8 mode. Not too loud and a great note.

Hi mate, no drone. The noise is a little louder but there is no drone. They have made a decent improvement to the sound for sure.

@@mongrelgarage7035 Hey mate, took me a while but finally got a pair of these and fitted onto the car this afternoon. Completely changed the car and sounds amazing, crackles on decel and just a deeper note. Great mod for what it is. This will easily hold me over until I invest in a full system. I have stock extractors and cats + 2.5 inch walkinshaw mid pipes, might just add extractors and hi flow cats with this setup and see how that goes
