    Well it sounds just like a '67 is supposed to. Brings back many memories. My new 2022 Jeep is ok but it is not the old 1967. Thank you for the smile I have today.

    Owned a 66, cool little trucks. Your “get it running” philosophy spot on, those cosmetics are perfect as-is in my opinion.

      Im hoping I can get a good patina look, maybe lose some of the bondo, just preserve it! They come apart a lot easier than they go back together haha 😆

    Nice job. Wish I would have watched these in order. If it’ll turn over, with just a little work, it’ll run.

    Wish you lived in Tennessee. I have a 1960 old military jeep my dad was about to restore.
    It ran with him but know I can't figure it out. It's 24v and all military water proof everything. My dad was going to make it 12v and I have no ideal how.
    If it was 12v I could get it running.
    It's in the same condition as yours.
    Has waterproof lights and all as well as Spicer transfer case and driveline.

    When you said..."some people take it completely apart, sand blast, paint everyone......" I had to chuckle. You know how out of hand my '67, Jacob....we're you talking about me?! Hahaha
    Cool Jeep, Jacob. What's next for the '67?... dauntless swap? :-)

      Hahaha I plead the 5th 😉 You’re one of the people that actually finished theirs though!

    Awesome job Jacob! She cleaned up nice and sounds really healthy too. Excited to see you fix her up 👍🏻 I know you have a lot of other things to worry about first, but I really liked my Pertronix when I ditched the points. I may even have a spare Pertronix Flamethrower coil floating around the shop if you need one.

    • @SevenBarSalvage
      @SevenBarSalvage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I appreciate it! I’ve heard good things about the pertronix and those coils I’ve been wanting to try them, if you run across it maybe we work something out 😉

    Nice old jeep you got there young man.
    The jeep Doc did you right selling you that one,. I am interested to see what you make of it in the future.
    I was watching your video on your fuel tank for your other jeep from back in February this morning.
    Here is a really good tip for you from an old timer,. On your next tank install,if you want some great anti squeak material for the mounting straps, just use some good old fashioned Roofing Tar Paper and glue it on to either the tank or the straps with some contacts cement.
    It is cheap, it works very well and lasts a long time.
    Years ago it was actually what was used in the factory.
    I know this because my Grandpa and several of my other family members and friends all worked at the American Motors Factory.
    And I was told many things like that along with many of good stories over the years.
    Thank you for all your videos.
    Hope to see more of them soon in the future.
    Tim from Wisconsin.

    I was hoping it had the Buick V6, the first 18 months or so of the V6 was rare in many areas. That should keep you busy for a while.

    Legal esse vídeo! Parabéns. Esse motor 4 cilindros é original? Te pergunto porque aqui no Brasil todos os CJ5 são com motor Willys BF-16 de 6 cilindros.

    • @SevenBarSalvage
      @SevenBarSalvage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Until the late 60’s the 4 cylinder was pretty much the only option in America this one has the 4 cylinder! That’s cool!

    Had to laugh about your stealing the battery out of the Dodge truck. My Jeep is a '57 CJ5 that's still a 6 volt, so I stole the battery out of my old '51 Farmall H tractor. It worked!
