2020-2023 Freightliner Cascadia Parked Regeneration instructions. DPF regen

In this video I am showing how to start a #park #regeneration (#dpf #regeneration) freightliner on 2020 - 2023 #freightliner #cascadia model.
Make sure your truck temperature is above 180 Fahrenheit and soot level is on a higher side.
Look for any warning lights or messages on the dashboard related to the regeneration system. They may provide information on the nature of the issue.
Trucks use park regeneration to clean their diesel particulate filters (DPF). The DPF traps soot particles from exhaust gases, and during normal driving, passive regeneration burns off accumulated soot. However, in low-speed or idling situations, trucks may initiate park regeneration when parked. This process artificially raises exhaust temperatures by injecting fuel into the exhaust system, burning off the trapped soot. Park regeneration is crucial for meeting emission standards and ensuring optimal engine performance by preventing DPF clogging.
