    2:37 helped me .. ALOT, I have been trying front handsprings for over a month but I kept landing really low with my right arm down. After I saw the kick your other leg part, I tried it and I did it , perfectly

    I've already learned front handspring. I just saw this video for fun but, it is a real nice tutorial. Perfectly explained all details required to be followed in the progression.👌👍

    *If you can make it halfway only, take a fluffy object(giant teddy bear)and you will succeed. practice for days and eventually lose the bear. you'll make it perfect on your own. credit goes to my dad*

      Aniket ABRAHAM or one of those yoga bouncy balls. Handstand at the beginning of the ball and bounce with your back on the ball to land, I haven't gotten it perfect but it got me to get over the fear

    Heck yeah, your tutorial helped me land one in a few hours over a few days. Felt sloppy, but I'll just keep working at it.

    At 3:33 That is a handspring. It's called a front handspring step-out. If you don't pop your hands it's a walkover

    Diolch! Been trying to get my handspring for a while now.... I can land it 50% of the time, but I think my problem is that I stop briefly in handstand before kicking over so I lose all momentum... can't wait to try kicking over next time at the gym! ;)

    Some form things to consider. Your head needs to be between your arms. So your shoulders need to be narrower. Your feet are flexed and your legs are bent. You are bringing your head forward a little too soon, too. You should be watching your hands as you come up. Great tips. You have a great shoulder block and lots of strength. But smoother transitions will be essential if you want to learn more fronts out of your front handspring like a pike, layout, or half or full twisting layout. Obviously, this all comes from a gymnastics stand point and you may not need or care about "Perfect" Form. No one is really perfect, anyway. You have really good back tucks and a strong Webster, too! I hope you don't take any of this negatively you are quite impressive! Just a few hints for you and anyone else.

      Oh good...I didn't want you to think I was being ignorant...because the way you do front handspring -front tuck blows me away. I am working Front handspring full and full and a half now. But It was a hard fought battle. You look like you could do it in your sleep. Lol.

    Thank you for the tutorial! I do have a question for you though if you have a sec. At 2:47, you say (I think) "If you kick straighter, you will have little momentum to get to your fit and land efficiently". Could you explain what you mean by that? I can't quite figure out it by looking at the video.

    • @GingerNinjaTrickster
      @GingerNinjaTrickster  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Alexander Gavrilov No problem :) If you kick straight up, you will lack rotation to land.
