I just went for it. My advice is practice the steps like in the tutorial. If you are too scared to flip. Then practice rolls, jump rolls, handsprings. They will help with awareness and you should get over your fear. Good luck :)
great tutorial, i watched it over the course of two weeks and now i can do the webster and it also helped in my free running, thanks ginger ninja trickster
Hi GNT and congrats for this video. After 3 months practising in websters i finally got it.I think that the key of webster is to lay down FIRST and then to kick really hard with the other legs.keep going!
Yes :) I have a little bit of experience in BJJ, Judo, Wing Chun and a few others but i mainly do Taekwondo and Kickboxing (mixed with Muay Thai and Kenpo) :)
i have trained taekwondo till black belt and i started watching your videos for fun the last two weeks i pulled off the 540 and the webster. damn your instructions help me understand the mechanics so good i am amazed things are so simple
That's great :) I'm glad i could help and it's probably a lot easier for you to pick up because of your martial arts background too. I was the same as i did martial arts first and i learnt so much in my first session :)
Thanks man! Good thing I live in America. Just picked up a pair at the mall 'bout 10 min from my house. And you are right btw, they are climacool. Thanks again! I'm a first degree black belt in taekwondo and red black in karate although I received them about 10 years ago (I'm 24 now and not nearly and light on my feet nor flexible). I'm not nearly as good as you are! Keep up the good work. You're an inspiration to many and to myself as well and now I'm going to get back into it.
I find it easier and most other people do to, especially if you are talking about standing but i'm sure there are some people that think differently. Hope that helps and good luck :)
i really want to thank you. this really helped me out and i wanted to learn the webster for a very long time. all the other tutorials didn't helped and i almost gave up. but then i saw this video and now i understand the way you need to do a webser. i hope it will help when i'm about to train this wednesday. and thank you for the tutorial
Really appreciate you saying that and i'm glad you like them. Thank you :) Just try it on something soft that will minimize injury and take the impact out of a fall. It is very difficult to land on your neck attempting this move. Usually back at worse. Good luck :)
You are probably more comfortable with your pop from standing so you go high but in doing so you have not rotation so it's getting a happy median between the 2 to land it. Good luck :)
Thanks a bunch GNT! Now i'm not just a Taekwondoin fighter only, but also on my way to be a perfect ninja flip master :) Lots of love from Indonesia bro!
Hi Aaron Gassor, I love your accent, your kicks and moves, and your detailed & clear explanation. You inspire me to practice harder! :) Thank you so much! :D
I just subscribed to you after seeing Sage pull this off like a Pro in the UFC and wondering wth this was - you've got the best, cleanest method of this move on youtube btw, I looked at many.. I am gonna practice this!
How cool that you learnt them on YT! It should be very easy for you. I don't play capoeira, but love to watch. I'll be showing your Spiderman video to my baby daughter tomorrow. You'll be the 1st Spiderman she sees. :) Much success to you!
You have to let go of your leg when you are preparing to land but when you are first starting out, a lot of people stay tucked because they don't know whether they are going to land and might not have enough height. Keep working hard and good luck :)
No problem. You lucky so and so lol Just keep working hard and i'm sure you will get back to where you were and then over take it :) I really appreciate your support and i will do my best to my friend :)
I know lol Not to sure about easy but i'm sure i will be able to do some moves with practice :) That's great, i have a baby daughter too :) I appreciate that, thank you :)
thank you very much you helped me with very good tips for my taekwondo training, and every video i watched of yours helped me perfect this particular martial art.
turns out it is a twitch muscle response problem for me, i have to retrain myself to not have a knee-jerk reaction (literally) on take off. your method is good and well explained, that is why i was baffled that i was having so much trouble :) thank you for the tut
It's still a move that wouldn't work in a real confrontation. Believe me i have been in a few and flashy techniques have never crossed my mind, best to keep it simple for your safety :)
im currently trying to get the frontflip from a stance, because i think that´s how i get the best technique out of it. I don´t happen to make it by now, but i´l give the webster a shot soon ;) Thx for the feedback
Lol I tried this my first time and landed into a split! 😂
Ouchhh
Jeez

I still have plenty to improve on but I've got to the point I am at the moment by practice :)
Appreciate you saying that. Thank you :) My friend bought them from America for me so i'm not too sure to be honest. I think they are climacool.
That's great :) I'm glad i could help and it's probably a lot easier for you to pick up because of your martial arts background too. I was the same as i did martial arts first and i learnt so much in my first session :)

and thank you for the tutorial
Thank you :) More time and height to land will help you achieve that. Just keep progressing with the move. Good luck :)
Oke👍good tutorial now i can do a webster
Really appreciate you saying that and i'm glad you like them. Thank you :) Just try it on something soft that will minimize injury and take the impact out of a fall. It is very difficult to land on your neck attempting this move. Usually back at worse. Good luck :)
Hi :) Appreciate your compliments and i'm glad you think that :) I'm glad I inspire you and good luck with your future training :)
Thank you :) I appreciate your support :)
You are probably more comfortable with your pop from standing so you go high but in doing so you have not rotation so it's getting a happy median between the 2 to land it. Good luck :)
I'm self taught and learnt the moves at an open gymnastics session :)
I'm far from the best but I appreciate you saying that. Thank you :)
Thank you,
now I got my Webster to a good potential :)
I'm glad i could help and Well done :)
Thank you and i'm glad it helped :)
Thank you :) You mean the kick going into the webster or the boxcutter right at the end of the combination?
Quite moderate as it's dynamic flexibility. The methods of take off in the tutorial explain the most efficient way for different people. Good luck :)
I'm glad it helped and i'm sure you will get it if you keep working hard. No problem and good luck with your training :)
Im big fan
I appreciate you saying that. Thank you :)
Thanks a bunch GNT! Now i'm not just a Taekwondoin fighter only, but also on my way to be a perfect ninja flip master :)

I will be making them in the near future :)
A Spider-Man is a must
