    You're an awesome encouraging dad and Tyler's a great kid 👍

    Old school alignment trick they probably still do at the race track. Take two finishing nails and some string. Secure the string to one nail and poke the nail just a touch into the tread of the rearward point of the tread on the back tire. Then poke second nail into the forward most part of the front tires tread. You'll notice the string barely touches the outside of the rear tire, and the it should be the same way on the front. If not make adjust as needed. I'm sure someone has a video about it lol. Almost forgot to mention. String test works best while tires are on the ground because independent suspension could effect it off the ground

      We did some similar tricks like that and we have it very close. Was hoping to get it perfect but may just go with what we have.

    Good to see you got it almost all put back together. I didn't realize Tyler was old enough to drive. Maybe they just start earlier in Louisiana than here in Canada. I'm looking forward to your final wrap up on the Tesla. Thanks.

      He is only 14. They can get a permit at 15. We were just in subdivision. Not on main roads.

    Those extra wires that attach to the tow hitch cover are for the emergency frunk release. If your 12v battery is totally dead and you can’t get into the car you can take that cap off and touch those two wires to a 12v battery and it’ll pop the frunk. From there you can jump the 12v battery to get access to the car.

    Nice job on getting the alignment fixed! This is a sweet ride. You're getting a fleet of white vehicles!

    • @SwampBoysGarage
      @SwampBoysGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha. Yes the Camry, Denali, and Tesla all white. Will have to change it up next time.

    Oh cool glad you guys got it finished. You will enjoy it, drive it daily and save money on fuel cost. Do the CCS retrofit as it will be super convenient for you guys at the Mall Electrify America charger. I mean you will mostly charge at home 95% time but if you need a quick boost it's a option.
    Yea you may get a error if it's still needs a front end alignment, Mr Robert will get you fixed up a Tesla Service NO. Those guys are great schedule a time and they can get it done in about a hour.
    Take it easy!
    Casey

    Great work you guys! Also, your car has a feature enabled called full self driving beta. This means the car can fully drive itself (With your supervision) from point A To B. Go into the Autopilot menu and toggle full self driving beta on. it should work now you have all the sensors installed.

    • @SwampBoysGarage
