This is a great video, just wondering what did you look at when buying this car? was it salvage? did you only buy it becasue the battery and the car works? what was your thought process? And where did you get the parts?
Hi did you had any issues with a car pulling to the left and thinking that the wheels are not straight when they are (after wheel alignment) also driver aids disabled because front facing radar was disconnected and needs calibration?
My man, MY MAN, I love this video. How do you select these cars? I see so many at auction and am scared of getting a dud/broken one. Whats the magic here? How do you know?
Was there any issues with wheel alignment and steering? I got into a collision with my model y and the handle on my car just isn't the same anymore. Bringing it back for the 3rd time to see what is going on...
So when you bought the car at auction did it show a ACV of 55-60k? I know there was no display I went through same and my car ended up being a Long Range with EAP and it could have been a SR rwd.
Nice videos summarizing the repair. Great job on the refurbishing. But I have to say, the music was super annoying especially while you were talkin and it was playing in the background. Thanks and best wishes
Do you still have track mode and does it have the red underline on the dual motor badge in the settings? I heard they took this away on the stealth. I just picked one up from IAAI.
Would love to get in contact with you in your knowledge on salvage teslas I have one and it works with supercharging but I’m afraid of it getting taken away
@@cyber_hooligan I’m in Florida I see you’re on the other side of the country and you’re the only other person I see on TH-cam that has a salvage Tesla that works with a supercharger mine works as well
@@mrfloridastate16 if your supercharging is working it is extremely unlikely that they will shut it off, normally it gets shut off when the accident happens and the repair parts are requested from Tesla, the Tesla technician can go in the system and shut it off on there end, do not go to them trying to buy parts using your vin number, if it gets shut off, there is a way to turn it on indefinitely then Tesla can not disable it any more, but it is a process done by a handful of ppl, basically hackers, i won’t say more online….. look for ppl who work on Tesla’s, I guarantee u will find some in Florida, of the ones I heard of they are all Russians haha
@@mrfloridastate16 I wouldn’t do it with Tesla that’s for sure, with every instance u increase your odds of getting shut off….. but check this out, rumor has it that when Tesla allows all other car brands to use there superchargers that Tesla will not disable salvage anymore because it will be more of a gas station type system if that makes any sense
The last 2 salvage Tesla’s I bought do supercharge no issues, there is a way to check if it will charge or not, let’s say the car is at the auction yard before sale, u simply turn on the navigation and put a destination that’s beyond the range available on the battery at the moment, if the navigation selects a supercharger along the way, that means the supercharging has not been disabled, if it is disabled, the navigation will prompt you that you will not make it to that destination.

Wow this work is super clean, beautiful 👏🏼

Great work on this! Beautiful car!
Dude, you are a MASTER!!!!! Was this car totaled? How much did you get it for? Great job all around!
Nice job! Well done! I love my M3! 🥰
Good job! Friendship from France!🇺🇸🇫🇷
The JB Weld on the rims is awesome. Can you tell any damage occurred? Thinking a Hyperdip coating would hide any blemishes even more. GREAT Job man!

I have two questions.
Is it okay to pressure wash tesla’s hardware under bonnet? And did Tesla disable ability to supercharge on this car?
Impressive work

I’m fixing to start a build myself. Although. I have another complete flooded Tesla that is donating its organs. Hopefully it will stay supercharging.
What a great job
Dude you did a amazing job!

I have my TESLA wrecked and totaled . I want to buy it back and repaired. Please let me know if i can contact you
What type of damage should I choose for a salvage tesla rebuild for myself? Thanks!
You did not need to change pyro fuse and reset RCM? It drove right off the auction?

So were these salvage? If so what's the truth in supercharge?

Yes I do have “track mode” on this one
How much did you get this for at the auction?
I have a question, i bought a 2022 Tesla y, the damaged was not to bad, bad my tesla doesnt want run, even release the rear wheels
Did u change pyro fuse?
@@cyber_hooligan no, i didnt, wher should i buy it, because the Tesla Dealer in Connecticut, they dont want sell any parts for my car!
@@florafloors2782 google, Calimotive” in rancho cardova CA, they have all Tesla parts u need
Thanks man, you are very helpfull!
My last question, on the Model Y, the pyro fuse, is under the rear seat as well?!
Well done 👍
Where did you get the front lip?
Does the car still supercharge to this date? Have u tried ccs dc fast charging too?
I had the supercharger issue fixed, I actually never tried the 3rd party fast chargers yet

Does the car still Supercharge? When Tesla finds out a car was salvage titled, they turn off Supercharging.

Do you know haw to root it ?
How's your supercharger?
No need to do any electrical work? No need to calibrate any modules? No need to run Toolbox diagnostic?
How did you fix the service mode?
Go to “service” on the screen, u will find how to turn off service mode
Cool but you cant supercharge
Yes I can, everything is possible, there is ppl who can fix that easily
turn down the background music
