Just discovered your channel and I must say WOW! You not only do great work but you're entertaining as well. You've got a new subscriber sir! As far as not making the handle........ your hammer your choice, use what ya got 😃👍.
That is an awesome little sledgehammer. I wonder what you will use it for! Always looking out for the new content. Don’t listen to the haters (you’re making cool stuff while they’re playing video games) 👍🏽
Precisely. It seems to me that many years ago there used to be a few people that did nothing but criticize, but now it seems like a lot of people do it. They don't actually create or do anything but they're more than happy to criticize whatever you're doing. Sadly, it happens in my own life. I try to stay busy doing at least something and I have critics who it seems that that's their only job. They don't do anything themselves. I never let it stop me but jeez, it'd be nice to hear "Nice job" just every once in a while.
Somebody is going to come across that hammer in 100 years and show their friends "Look what a cool hammer somebody made out of a piece of rebar! Amazing!" Very nice work!👍
Hello, first time on your channel, it was the Rockwell/Beaver lathe that hooked me 🙂You have a new subscriber. I tried to see your name on the about area of your channel but I must be blind I also couldn't see your email I have some good upgrade info for the lathe as I have done many rebuilds & upgrades for people in the Edmonton area. Anyway I really enjoyed how you did the 2LB Hammer build 👍 Looking forward to your next video, take care, Wayne
Nice job… you will use that for driving in Concrete stakes for setting form boards? I think your bandsaw might need tightening is why it was cutting crooked
Could be possible but rebar comes in many grades. I know they make it in mild, low, medium, and high-carbon and I believe also sometimes in various steel alloys. Of course you wouldn't be cutting high-carbon steel with a bandsaw like in the video but even if it's just mild steel, it depends on what you're beating with it whether it deforms (naturally). For instance, that I can think of, the last 2-pound sledge I saw in use was a floor guy putting down a hardwood floor and he used it exclusively to hit the rubber end of the pneumatic flooring stapler/board tightener whatever-you-call-it. Of course that hammer will last forever and never deform so who knows what people will use a hammer made out of rebar for?

That’s a truly amazing job!!! Looks so stylish!
Thank you, honey!
One more masterpiece in here. Nice work 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Good work and I love the finish. I enjoyed the slow motion shots on the milling machine.
Glad you liked it!
Good job man, I like your style to do your projects.
Glad you like them!
Actually a hammer that size gets used more than some huge hammer. At least in my shop. Thumbs Up!
Thank you!
Very nice and best wishes.
Many many thanks

I’m yet to decide what I gonna use for lol
I’ll try tightening the blade, thanks
Nice
Thanks
Nice👍
Thanks ✌
It's pretty but I believe that rebar is low carbon steel and it will probably mushroom over time.

@@thinking-monkey It will probably last a long time anyway.

А чого ж мені ображатись? Я перший раз виконував таку роботу, звісно це далеко від ідеалу. Вік живи- вік навчайся!
