Porsche 996 C4S Overhauls Including Coil Over Comparison - FGP Prep Book EP44 Part 1

In episode 44 of Friends Green Porsche Prep Book two 996 Carrera 4S' receive the comprehensive FGP refresh treatment, including full suspension overhauls, followed by a review and comparison of the installed KW V3 coil over kit and the Ohlin Road & Track coil over kit.

Bilstein coilovers were the single biggest improvement on my 996 Turbo. I've also changed out the exhaust, intake piping, Cobb tuned the car, upgraded the brakes including braided lines, switched to a light weight aluminium flywheel, and put in a pair of bucket seats for hill climb/targa/track days. THIS is how the car should have come from the factory imo.

I've done the front brake pipes on my C4S, it was the worst. I've yet to tackle the rears - not looking forward to it! Another great video, chaps!

The finish on the kw's sounds like it's harder wearing coating that might stand up to road conditions longer term from the sales blurb

I was thinking about getting the Olin’s road and track for my 997.1 but afraid it’s too stiff. I have had the KW on another porsche and was very unhappy with their ride, and overall quality as well as how quickly they went bad. My S has the electronic shocks and the Olin’s don’t have that capability.
