Hi, I have a quick question- I want to put up a speedball platform in my garage. The garage has wooden shelving. Do you think I can mount the platform in a square piece of wood and then attach that to the shelving? The shelving is about 4 inches thick deep. Struggling to find many mounting videos. Thanks
It depends how the shelving is attached to the wall and how heavy your speedbag platform is. The platform attached to shelving or even another piece of wood may make the shelving vibrate a lot. The more solid the base the better. I guess it's similar to attaching to studs in the wall. I can't be certain but if the shelves are solid it may work.
thanks for the reply, yes the shelving is pretty solid. I am currently in a rental and its the only place i could attach it to lol. I may try and if it doesn't i may try to build a free standing frame i guess. thanks
