Just need to mount on the wall now, would have liked to have seen that process.

I had some of the same issues as those noted below. Valor sent me replacement bearing washers bc the original ones didn't slide over the screw drive.
What is the best method to attach to a cinder block wall? Are the lag bolts best (with lead anchirs not included) or should I use the large expansion type bolts? Valor please weigh in.

I just got this speed bag mount but the bearing doesn't fit the rod?

Can you send me a photo of the problem? I am guessing it may be the small sandwich looking bearing just above the handle but would to make sure. Jim@valorfitness.com

Just installed mine - the swivel does not swing true and continues to come loose? The plastic inserts on the rods fell out of the first time I raised the platform, the install was not as smooth and easy as the video shows (little metal piece for wheel did not fit, I had to shave it down and use a hammer to get it to fit, still seems wonky). The whole "master link" on the swivel is not very user friendly - poor choice in engineering. I will give it a few weeks before I make any firm decision on it but thus far the quality does not match up to the price. I will expect Valor to accept a return if I am unsatisfied with the performance.

Adam, sorry for your troubles. I can associate with your note since I have this unit in my garage. Swivel: After a round of speed bag, I too reach up and tighten the swivel disc. I used a small piece of Teflon tape to secure the fit. I do not want it too tight since I change out bags and leave each bag attached to the master link. To change bags I just unscrew the swivel and screw in the other swivel with the different bag. The plastic inserts should not be falling out or coming out. When you adjust the platform, do you push up on the very end of the platform to release pressure on the guide rods? This helps remove the pressure (friction) on the inserts allowing the frame to move up and down. The mater link should spin freely. If you are able to send me a video or photo, then please do. Jim@valorfitness.com. If you are not satisfied with the unit, box it up how it arrived and we will refund your purchase.

@@ValorFitnessInc Why should we be securing the swivel with teflon tape? Shouldn't it be secure as-is? I don't want it tight to the point it's permanent but it should not be unscrewing itself while in use. I've used many types of platforms over my lifetime and this is the first that has this issue.

@@ValorFitnessInc Are the holes to attach the swivel to your platform universal? I.e. - If I bought a Title boxing or other swivel, should it be plug and play?

@@PhillyPhlavor The holes should adapt. Why would I know this? years ago, I helped Title import their own units under Title Boxing. After the first order, they located the factory and bought from them directly. I was not too upset until they kept using the Valor Fitness manual in their boxes. If you give it a try, let me know how it works. Maybe they changed the swivel design.

@@PhillyPhlavor Two trains of thought on the swivel design. The original design had the swivel bolted to the swivel housing and then bolted to the platform. The user had to disconnect the bag from the chain link or the little hook that supported the bag loop. Then someone thought, why not make the face plate have threads on it so anybody can swap out the bag of their preference much faster and use the bag of their choice. Looks like unscrewing the swivel mount was the best option for quick and easy exchanges. We did test some open market swivels that have the threaded option, but our threads did not match the threads of the one we bought. It was either Ringide or Century. I will check mine again tonight and see what happens if I take a pair of pliers and firmly tighten the swivel.
