Hello from California, welcome to Armenia 🇦🇲,we love all visitors , and big respect them , specially TH-cam er who’s introduce Irina to the world thanks for beautiful videos
Cascade is not a Soviet-style complex. The architecture was designed by Jim Torosian, and if you examine his works, you won't find anything in the Soviet style. By the way, there is a Cafesjian Modern Art Museum inside the Cascade! 🇦🇲
@@HopefulInterventions Nothing rude about it, she's just stating a fact. I was actually surprised at the brazen commentary of the vlogger from the beginning, to assume everything in Yerevan was post Soviet.🤣
Not Kardashians lol, just their features are Armenian...big eyes..just Armenian women with national clothes.Anyway u are very positive, and video as well.
Welcome to Armenia, but you don't need to emphasize the name of the Soviet Union on every street, Yerevan had a history of 2 millennia before it was occupied by the Russians, and even what was built during the Soviet era was built only with Armenian architectural approaches.
Armenia was occupied by Persian Empire before Russia. Soviets saved you from Turkey. Hitler was very interested to get to oil in Azerbaijan through Armenia. Be kind and humble. Russia has been standing at 3 million Armenia border against 85 million Turkey for the last 33 years. Otherwise, they would walk all over Armenia in couple of hours.
I'm surprised, why people thank this guy. His video didn't show the beauty of Yerevan. I think he did that on purpose. He was walking by the stairs of Cascade but didn't show the most interesting and beautiful statues of the complex and museums under the stairs. Also, at the end of his way he showed Yerevan but didn't mention that we could see Mount Ararat from the highest point of Cascade even though it was hidden under the clouds. Everybody mentioned that fact when got to that place. This is a bad video about nothing. I think this guy is Turkish.
Thank you for visiting Armenia! One note, we were part of Soviet Union, but we are much more than that. I think you just showed Armenia, like just another Soviet country, basically Russia. Matryoshka, Kvas etc is not even Armenian, we were occupied by Soviets and it obviously it influenced our culture, but plese stop pointing it out every now and then.
I am a Bangladeshi. I want to go Armenia 🇦🇲 I would love to Seattle there. But the problem is these country haven't any Bangladeshi 🇧🇩 agency. If I visit Armenia 🇦🇲 then how can I apply for legal visa? I want work there also. It's a beautiful country. Can anyone help me pls ?
The Soviet time was filthy and the inhabitants of all the former republics, with the exception of Russia and Belarus, are trying to forget this historical piece of history.
Nice video. Really enjoyed it, but we’d really appreciate if you stop thanking us in Russian. That’s a very disrespectful and colonial approach. You could have just said merci if the Armenian word is too hard for you. We all say merci here.
When you reched the fence at the top of the Cascade stair complex and witnessed the abandoned construction site in feont of you, you should have guessed that its the time the Soviet Union collapsed :)
It's advisable to explore Armenian culture when visiting Armenia rather than relying on Russian matryoshkas or kvass. Please refrain from saying 'spasibo'; it's not respectful to our country and culture. It's not difficult to learn a few words in the language of the place you're visiting. If Armenian seems challenging, you can use a vocabulary or Google Translate in such situations!)🇦🇲
Your comment is ridiculous most Armenians speak Russian and if a person can communicate in Russian then that how he can communicate . I say this as an Armenian there’s nothing disrespectful about it.

So glad you chose Armenia! We have a little country, but it's history and culture are huge. Thanks for sharing your explorations through Yerevan!
Thank you for your comment 😁 I loved Yerevan 😍
Is it still safe as a result of the war with the neighboring country?
I don't think it's any different from before.
Glad you liked it! It has great food, chill vibes, and likeable people!
Thank you so much 👍 I totaly agree 😊

👍
A little tip, since you're from Belgium you could say Merci and everyone would understand it instead of Spasiba. We also use Merci for thank you.
Thank you for the tip 😁👍 Merci
Spasiba is Russia 🇷🇺 how and yandex holding
Thanks from Armenia!
This guy is probably the only youtuber that makes you feel you are actually travelling with him. Respect.

Stop saying ‘spasibo’. Our informal ‘thank you’ is actually MERCI. I hope you know this word, as a Belgian.
Good to know!
