I was confused when you asked to turn on subtitles, thought your English was bad and was meaning to click subscribe....well I did both, fantastic content
I don’t often comment on TH-cam videos but when i do it’s to call the creator a maniac! That cheese sandwich was hard to watch! 😭 You’re restorations skills however are excellent. A+
I think perhaps the iron should have been hotter before he placed the sandwich inside. And perhaps a bit more butter on the outside of the bread so it would brown up nicer and not stick to the iron.
Superb job, I have a similar restoration to do at home and have been inspired by your work. However would have appreciated watching your electrical rewireing .
This is a pannini press for making grilled sandwiches. As @hgghgguk said, buttering or oiling your bread will help if not stick & give a lovel, tasty exterior. Very nice clean-up.
Didn't know that about Bakelite and its love of oil. Turned out nice. Those toasters seem like a good idea but the mess they leave behind makes it too much bother. I threw mine and the George Foreman grill away years ago:)
I have had my George foreman for over 20 years and use it every few days. I find it easy to clean. Never had any thing stick like his sandwich did. I spray it lightly with olive oil before I use it.
That thing was disgusting! Was that ordinary super glue you used on the handle and what was it that you sprayed on it? Some kind of activator to cure it faster? Excellent work as always!
if you dont want it to stick you can butter the outside of the bread it will also give a nice golden toasted exterior and a nice crunch too
And must wait until the toaster is very hot, then put the bread on it
correct
Mayonnaise instead of butter, it's a lighter oil and doesn't make the bread greasy and the egg browns and crisps the crust beautifully
or use parchment paper :)
i love the restoration of vintage appliances great work
Thank you very much :)

Thank you very much :)
You are brilliant ! What a fantastic job. Thank you for sharing. Love old appliances.
Thank you 😊🤗
You got toaster really clean and working well, just like new. Great work.
Thank you very much :)
Fantastic Art Deco at its finest
Thank you very much :)
If you want to avoid having to clean the cheese off. Stick a bakingpaper sheet between the sandwich and the plates. Works like a charm !
Thank you :)
Yes baking or parchment/Greaseproof paper works Great!!
So George Forman wasn't such an innovated producer after all. Super restoration of this old toaster/sandwich warmer. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍😁🇨🇱🇺🇸
Thank you very much dear Paul 😊🤗🙏

Spraying nonstick pan spray on the griddle surfaces will make it easier to get gunk off after cooking.
George Forman would be so proud of your refurbishing...
Thank you :)
I love restorations!! ❤ the final finish is beautiful !! ❤
Thank you 😊🤗
Butter that bread man!!!..great resto again!
Haha, thank you :)
Now I just feel hungry. Looks brilliant 👍 love your work
Thank you very much mate :)
My grandmother had one just like that!
I enjoyed the video, but I am disappointed that you didn't show what you did (if anything) with the electrical wires.

Wow, really good fix on the handle. I bet cleaning those aluminum grates was a real PITA. Awesome job on the restoration.
Thank you very much :)
A very early example of a George Forman grill. 😁

You are absolutely right. Their looks and designs are really nice, but I don't want to use them :)

I would not have survived my early 20s without my Foreman grill. Used it for everything.
It's not a toaster, it's a grilled cheese maker. Great job though 👍
Haha, thank you 😊🤗
ekmeğin altına ve üzerine yağlı kağıt koyarsan pleyti kirletmezsin .
Nice work

Thank you so much
Looking forward to this year's projects.
This is a sandwich maker
Great job
Thank you 😊🤗
Slap a little butter or oil on there next time and you'll be just fine...
Thank you 😊
Next time use some oil if you are going to toast a grill cheese.
great job...
Teşekkür ederim Ayhan Bey.
That's a toaster? It looks more like a panini press to me.
waw! what an effort :) Amazing result. What Glue and Spray was it, you used to cure the glue? would Love to now, so I can get some.
Hello, thank you very much. You can find it by doing a Google search with the phrase "super glue with activator".
good job
Thank you mate :)
That thing was disgusting! Was that ordinary super glue you used on the handle and what was it that you sprayed on it? Some kind of activator to cure it faster? Excellent work as always!
Thank you very much mate :) Yes, I needed the part of the handle to stick right away so I sprayed activator over the superglue.
Oven cleaner in the oven would cut right through the cooked on gunk.. thats what its for
Use butter on the outside of the bread

Its an old sandwich press not a toaster.
Tosta da yağ sürseniz tam olacakmış :D Elinize sağlık
Teşekkür ederim 😊
Harika olmuş ellerine sağlık👍
Teşekkür ederim canım 😊
Esse aparelho deve consumir muita energia kkkkkk
Are the heat barrier and the wire beads made of asbestos? Any concerns about it?
No, those materials are ceramic.
I hope that it was a jummy toast
The bread remained slightly moist and the cheese melted immediately. I can't say it's very good :)
@@Restomaniac enjoy the toaster
