I was guiding my VI runner Dan round for his first marathon but those winds and the cold knocked the stuffing out of him but we dragged ourselves around the power station and got back under 5.30. Good luck in London will be marshalling at 21 miles and will keep an eye out for you.

A great effort. It was definitely not the easiest course and the hills and wind made it hard to keep to pace. Well earned !
