Hi from Alan from Birmingham United Kingdom as i found your information very useful as I’ve got a 65 inch sky glass TV coming this Saturday as at the moment I’ve got a 65 inch Hisense Connecting up with sky Q which will go into another room now after ordering the new crystal sky glass as it’s going to be a nice upgrade as you explaining in such a good way of all the settings is going to come in really useful so a big thank you as i look forward to seeing future TH-cam footage if and when you present it Best wishes 👍
i found i had to turn the back light right up to 90-100 and colour saturation up a load just to get rid of the dull white foggy effect of the screen out of the box. once i did that it seems really nice.
Thanks it seemed sport was the only option as it distorts sound the other settings why you can't do them separately is anyone's guess! I have the 65" it is a lovely set.
I’ve had the 65inch tele for almost a month now. I am liking it but not impressed with the Dolby atmos and find subwoofer isn’t as good as my Sony system so I may cancel it
That's a good question. As far as I'm aware, nothing is currently broadcast in Atmos. However, you can watch Blu-ray films or say Netflix with Atmos (it'll need to have it shown/recorded in it, so that you can actually experience it) - as for then checking if an Atmos-enabled show/film is indeed using the right metadata, you'd look at the settings or check for more info (ie say on my Blu-ray, I can check the audio output) - same applies on my Samsung TV.
Hi,we have skyglass for a few months ,we had to ask for a new remote control, the new remote has stopped working we have tried all that was suggested to us to no avail. No working at the moment. No back light 😢😢😢

@TotallydubbedHD thanks for replying. I think my question was unclear. I'm sorry. Say you are watching a movie on bluray. The TV'S speakers can handle Dolby Atmos but can you switch that off and listen in stereo if you wanted to. Thank you.
@@Chalky555 you should be able to disable higher metadata from the settings, again can't recall you'll need to check your settings (as things might have changed too), but honestly no idea why you'd want to ever do what you said haha
@TotallydubbedHD ref why, it was just an example to make my question as clear as possible. While watching sky it's obvious how to click through sound modes while using the inbuilt soundbar. I was trying to get to the bottom of doing the same thing on an external source. For example using different inbuilt TV soundbar settings on an external source. Thanks.
Thanks for replying. Do you apply both settings to hd and HDR content as they're different settings, for example a HDR or 4k programme on Amazon Prime is different to that on BBC 1 HD.
Yes when you watch a HDR source the settings applied are different to that when watching standard television. Try comparing Sky Sports UHD with BBC1 Hd and you'll see the settings are different in the menus 😃
