HOWEVER, False Swipe has released remakes on Chansey/Blissey, Charizard, Skarmory, Scizor, Dragonite, and Tauros due to early videos basically ignoring the other tiers beyond OU. so we're likely due to see remakes on the other two gen 1 starters, snorlax, and plenty of others who didn't really have a fair shot in their videos. so at the rate of 1 video per week, it'd take him a little over 11½ years to cover all the current pokémon. nintendo generally comes out with the next gen every 3-4 years, with the next one right around the corner. 113 pokémon have been added per gen on average. So, taking these factors into account, we can estimate that ~440 pokémon will have been added by the time he's done the current 905, if he plans to do this for the next decade lmao.
It’s always been strange to me how something with stats like Azelf could drop to UU, or be used mainly as a suicide lead, but I guess the lack of a STAB move with a base power over 100 can do that.
it would be cool if they made forms like rotom has for each of the trio, like Azelf gets a water type, Uxie gets electric and Mesprit gets fire, maybe give them a new hidden ability along side that as well (with slightly improved movepools)

I remember that when I was a kid I always chose Azelf for my DPP playthoughs because I liked how it looked next to the other pixies It was a good choice lol
My favorite thing to do with Azelf in Gens 6 and 7 was to use it as a Ferrothorn lure, since I often otherwise struggled with the damn spiky UFO. Luckily, Azelf learns Flamethrower, and even in Gen 6/7 was usually expected to use Explosion, or even better, I'd demonstrate the psychic portion of a more traditional offense set. This made it extremely common for my opponents to quickly toss in Ferrothorn as a supposed means to shut down Azelf via setting seeds, but it was in that turn that I would instead drop the spicy surprise and melt the damn thing out of existence. It should come as no surprise that Azelf has been my favorite pixie ever since.
I didn't know these pixies were high up there as a fan favorite trio. Personally I was disappointed with them because they're all the same type. It mostly was just how I looked at Pokemon teams as a kid, where if I had Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres I could have them all in my team cause that's ice, electric and fire. a sheer force user with high speed and attacking stats and great movepool. holy crap
Pure SPECULATION. Don't expect too much.
@@alibaba3568 yeah that’s why I said it’s “rumored”
Implying that it’s currently only speculation.
@@praisethesun8479 friend of mine told me and I saw it on Twitter from a few sources but yeah, it’s just a rumor at the moment. It would be really cool and I don’t think it’s a huge leap to say that the pixies will likely get some buffs in the remakes, and sheer force Azelf sounds within the realm of possibility.
Hopefully the new company developing BD&SP will do the Lake Guardians, along with Regigigas, some justice.
clear body gigas please ilca
@@xx_lunchmeat_xx752 speed boost regigigas
To update:
BDSP did nothing for them
Legends didn’t help Regigigas but the Lake Trio got a signature move, Mystical Power
That gen 8 sprite was as animated as Zacian/Zamazenta's animation when it's trying to turn around
Azelf has been a pretty often pick for my hyper offense teams as the big boom lead until Aerodactyl caught my eye
I'd like to see a video on the generational gimmicks, particularly on gem's as they are rarely (but understandably to an extent) forgotten about.
Only one we still have is the normal gem
@@agentblackbird9435 didn't ask
I think it’s about time we see rotom. I know I’m prepared for a 1 hour video
the length of Azelf in DPP was longer than some of the pokemon that FSG made vids on like Gallade Leavanny and Luvdisc lol
They’re just that bad
azelf: exists
sucker punch: wazup, just got home from the shop
Who used Blizzard and froze the Lake guardians' gen 8 sprites?
It's a 3D model by that point
I feel like we should start placing bets on whether Uxie will appear next week or he'll pull the rug out from under us and do something completely random instead.
It’s be more of a rug pull to do a trio without something interrupting
i predict a “How GOOD was Sunkern ACTUALLY”
I'm gonna guess that the next video will be about Magcargo so he can say "Unfortunately" 6 times for an easy video.
Guys!!! Let’s troll FSG with a derpy Pokémon pick again!! We can do it!!!
Either a quagsire remake or a shuckle remake.
Magcargo
5:30 My Good Lord .....Like my ears are getting pregnant
T H A T I S S O S W E E T. The falls of M A N Y before the art of cultured men is indeed *_heartwarming_*
I can't wait for a Video about Zyguarde
Nasty Plot and Baton Pass rock on it
Next week is Uxie! The sinnoh lake trio is complete!
If azelf had like 20 pts taken from spattck to attack and got swords dance it would be pretty unique as one of the rare physical psychic attackers
I wonder if this will be the longest lake trio video 🤔
To hear mid-game Azelf being outclassed by its early-game counterpart is funny to say the least.
You know a mon was good in gen 4 if almost 9 minutes of the video is for it
In gen 6 UU, I would run an Anti-Anti-lead Azelf with Magic Coat. For how gimmicky it was, it gave rocks and denied my opponent's Azelf rocks and it did it pretty consistently
Ah yes, the Ace of the Elfs.
Azelf and Infernape were always on my team in DPP and in BW/2 as well it was an essential member of my team, whether it was the Lead or a scarfer.
Thinking about the inevitable "How GOOD was Deoxys ACTUALLY?" Saga
2 hours long video
I used to love leading with a king’s rock Azelf with fake out, fling, stealth rock, and Explosion. Nowadays I mostly play VGC doubles, so I haven’t used this set lately, it’s very much a singles set only.
Bibarel next to continue to tradition of interrupting trios
5:16 why is Crobat like ten times the size of Azelf
Gene 4 was so interesting and special competatively
Watch as next week isn't Uxie to trigger everyone's OCD...
What derpy Pokemon is gonna interrupt this trio lmfao
I've been waiting for this
if the next episode isnt something dumb, we will riot
How good was luminion actually?
I don't think he could get ad revenue from that video.
Unfortunately... Lumineon is worse Milotic. Still a pretty underrated Pokemon in terms of design, also its cry is pretty cool.
who? /s
Not at all.
@@iantaakalla8180 I know but here me out. It would be funny
i swear ive seen you do a vid on azlef before already
I would like to see a remake on Blaziken, this new generation has been a harsh one for it
Was always my favorite pokemon growing up
I hadn't really considered how much the team preview could effect a Pokemon in comp play
I really didn't expect azelf to not use Close Combat, it's a strong move that destroyed tyranitar and dark types in general and paired well with u turn and explosion, idk tho
Azelf: Laugh while you can Froslass, because I'm about to rock you...LIKE A HURRICANE!
🎵Here I am! Rock you like a hurricane!🎵
Froslass: *uses Taunt*
Azelf: Huh. Should've known that'd only be a one-hit wonder...
IS THIS A DBZA REFERENCE!?

"When Salamence was in UU, it loved being paired with Azelf"
Wait, Salamence was in UU?
gen8
UUBL in Gen 6/7, UU in gen 8.
That's power creep for you.
It is now, too.
Dragapult and Dragonite fucked it
