I just got to spend a week ferrying around various Illuminati involved with the Superbowl in one of these, so i was keen to come back and watch this review again to see how it compared to my thoughts on it. There is no way you're going to mistake the ecoboost V6 for a V8 based on noise. It's an amazing engine, and you can definitely hear the turbos spool up, but it sounds nothing like a V8. Performance is incredible though for the size of the vehicle, very smooth and eerily quiet. Handling was great, the steering a little on the light side for me. I was getting ~14mpg in mostly city driving in San Francisco and all it's hills. The sound system was freaking amazing. The inability to adjust the volume of the voice navigation prompts was frustrating though. I found myself constantly reaching for the volume knob as soon as a direction started. Probably wouldn't bother the Mr Joe Public all that much, but in the livery business, it drove me mad. I was in the car for around 14 hrs per day, and really struggled to get a comfortable seating position. My right leg constantly aching. Maybe i just needed more time with it. The seating position was too high in the lowest position also.
Cool video Tom :) fun to watch American cars. Always nice to see your videos. You are probably one of the best car Reviewer international. Thanks From Denmark
Great review, as usual, and love the nautical motif. Thanks for not having any references to the Titanic! :-) Not that I'm in the market for one of these boats, but I'm not wild about the styling. The Tahoe/Suburban and Escalade look better to my eye.
I have one and. It’s the best suv to me. Most people that say. They don’t like it or hate it. Are mad they can’t afford it. But. I love the Lincoln navigation because. It’s stands out better. Then any other full-size suv. It’s in a class by itself you guys would never understand that. But any. I love it. The Lincoln is the best. And I like Lexus. But Lincoln Will always Stand out 🤓😀☺️
This is a joke compared to the all new escalade... I am a ford truck guy, but for some reason i like watching luxury suv reviews, and i think the escalade esv is just a bigger beast...
We’re driving them on huge roads. The US is quite a big country. Our parking spots usually tend to be larger as well, although I presume our compact parking spaces are about the same size as your normal spaces.
I think the next 2017 Lincoln Navigator will become epidemic with its 'probably all-aluminum, body-on-frame body' based on the all-new, next generation 2015 Ford F150 chasis, which is, well ... a sure thing; most importantly, this time around the Navigator will become more practical to the likes of the ever-so-popular Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon Denali (which Lincoln engineers' seamlessly said they don't compete with such a GMC product), Mercedes-Benz GL and by now you seem to fathom the point above. However, if the Navigator become influence with the all-new Continental concept with full-LED headlamps, alcantara-suede-like headliner, hand-crafted cut-and-sewn interior and at least 450 horsepower than Lincoln would have a winner, that's for sure.
I still see too much Ford in the Navigator. I'm interested in seeing how Lincoln will finally put their spin and prevent it from looking and feeling like a deluxe Expedition.
I'm astounded that loyal customers keep coming back to the Navigator. And sales are through the rough!? I would like to know what demographic makes up the customer base because right now I'm picturing Bob Barker. No offense to Bob Barker of course.
New 5.3 is trash . I’ve been a Chevy guy my entire life and the old 5.3s were absolutely bulletproof , the new 5.3/6.2 are a collapsed lifter waiting to happen . Do yourself a favor and buy a dod/vvt delete kit as soon as your warranty is up , healthy cam swap and it’ll live a long happy life . That being said , this video is old as hell , and the new 3.5 EB absolutely destroys both the 5.3 and 6.2 in performance gains. Simple bolt on and tunes and you have a 600+ hp suv that shits on new sports cars . I own one of these old tanks because they can actually tow heavy vs the new Navi/expedition . I also own a 2021 explorer st , and fbo with a tune - it walks away from 99% of vehicles you’ll encounter with ease

Gmod-Gta-Black Ops..... Thanks man! Mariko and I spent a week in Denmark, lovely place.
This whole time I thought you had chronic diarrhea.
Garzanberg EPIC....!!!
The front grill always reminds me of Walter White's Aztec.
I own this with 100k miles daily use and zero signs of age. Most competitors will have worn down some by now but not Lincoln
If you still own it, how’s it running today and how many miles does it have.

This is easily bigger than some buses we have here in Europe. Would be impossible to park here I guess... What are you guys doin' with such huge cars?

Do you find your reviews to be akin to Steve hammes? You two
Should do a collaboration hahah!
Awesome

omar khan I think he lives at the other end of the country so I don't think that will be happening.
Why wood not stick with a v-8

We all know you're really building a secret impenetrable castle. :p
I'm never buying toilet paper from Costco ever again, Tom~
Are there any Toyota cars in the box
I wish Lincoln could do away with the split wing grill already. Then, maybe, this would be able to compete with the Escalade.
didnt know about the navigator loyal customers was sooo high
Great review, although I think you missed a big opportunity by not including any maritime references.

Useless, lol .. Infinity SUV is the way to go
I can't believe someone stole you're toilet paper right in the parking lot, Tom :-( Did you have to pay for it?
ormand3000 It happened in the store, I was just to lazy to go back to get another pack.
7k for a stiff ride? Hells no. This isn’t a MX5! WHY Would they do a stiff ride here, then charge for it. Hells no.
Meh, the back of the interior looks rushed and cheap....
It is.... EcoBoost V6 is brilliant though.
C'mon hes stealing toilet paper.
all those safety features aren't present on this but are on a toyota rav4 lol ok..m
I think if this ugly bus was made anywhere other that US he would have slaughtered it and made lame jokes all day.
This car is just ..... over all sad....very sad. if you know what i mean.
