Honestly the Hero 9 Is the best so far (in my opinion)

The biggest difference I’ve seen is how much crisper non speedy moving textures look like on the 10. (This video didn’t show those at all) For the 50 dollar price tag difference right now I think it’s well worth choosing the 10 over the 9.
10 is overheating, and 9 is not
That’s my frustration with GoPro, the image quality is never consistently better with each rendition, it would make more sense to have great stabilization and better image quality but one gets better then other get worse or no better.
Thanks for the nice comparison. The 9 is on sale for 100.00 off at Best Buy right now and I’m thinking of picking it up for casual and occasional use.

Gopro 10 Is leaps and bounds better than the gopro 9. It's mostly because of the processor, as the gopro 9 overheats and freezes making it super annoying to use. Also the higher resolution with higher framerate is a gamechanger if you know how to use settings properly. You didn't show the gopro 10 vs 9 correctly. The 10 remains the best camera though, as the 11 and 12 use the same processor and same resolutions, thus making them slower
Upgraded from the hero 3 to the 9. Big difference and I have my Sony full frame mirrorless cam so I don’t have any serious uses for the GoPro besides FPV videos. The hero 9 I got for $180 brand new and I love it!!

I have the hero10 and i am quite happy with it. If i have the opportunity to get the hero13, I'd actually stick with my 10. I cant speak for the 9 but my 10 is a great little camera.

I currently use FCPX but I think at the time that I was making this video it was a LumaFusion on my iPad

But how about compared to the 11?
For 40€ I think that having the twice of the resolutions/framerates is not a bad deal...
(I found it at 425€)
9 is control display screen keep freezing and slower, this is big difference
I still use my hero 4 silver to this day as my daily motorbike dashcam

Has anybody commented on how the GoPro 9 black heats up. Other people are experiencing it shuts off after 15 or 20 minutes.
I did test same day i bought gp9.
Static, indoor recording 4k60fps, 20*C it heats up and overheated after around 40minutes.
Camera body had at most 55*C so warm in touch but not hot.
Doesn't sound terrible, but its pretty low temp, in 25-30* it can be pretty bad, but at the same time need to to real test on bike helmet with airflow. Though its fully plastic construction with no heatsink so i dont think airflow will make that big difference.
Design/engineer flaw imo.
And supposedly is getting worse with each generation
