The freaking stop lights bro😭😭😭. You literally have EVERYTHING!!! That’s really amazing I know of almost none of those. Pretty soon you’ll have a wig wag and one of those locomotive styled bells. lol keep up the collecting! Very impressive what you have
@@TexasRailfan2008Nice that you have the wig wag! I have an old DW banner too! Definitely the rarest thing in my collection! For the locomotive bells look for one that says 990-1 on top
Nice collection! Your new single-sided case matches what would have been seen and can still be seen under the US&S T2 semaphores. That style is unique because of the low number of rivets used to construct the case. The wood shelving also indicates that it would have been initially under a T2 semaphore. I recommend brazing the other case with the breaks in the door. US&S would braze their cracked/flawed castings from the factory.
13:45 Oh damn!!! I figured these kinds of STOP lights were almost extinct by now, save for the one at the Heart of Dixie museum and some drawbridge applications in Chicago! This is a very impressive catch
How did you move that bungalow? It amazes me how you even got it lol. I’m still trying to find a small relay case for my setup, along with a flasher relay.
@@TexasRailfan2008 Directional stick is when the crossing goes back to normal while the exiting approach relay remains de-energized, so the crossing isn't activated for longer than it needs to be. You can see it in action at any crossing where the gates go back up after the train leaves the island circuit.

Neat! I didn’t know that about the rivets and the brazing!

We put logs underneath it, and rolled it off the trailer and into the corner of the property.
@@TexasRailfan2008oh.
So for your crossings you do directional stick

@@Pyth110 ah, I see. Yes, that is achieved by the interlocking relay.
What is your favorite railroad relay?
Probably a Peerless flasher relay. I will upload a video of mine soon.
Yeah, those are cool. Can't wait to see the video.
