@@centralillinoissirens. merry Christmas!
Wow! I love that new H5 setup looks good!
@@SPRF_UPRF thanks!
Very cool new signals can't wait to see what you do with the H5 search light signal, great work.
@CalebWagner-xh8gn thanks!
Sounds like a model 2
Finally figuerd out how to subscribe sorry it took so long .
Now, I'm kinda jealous that you got a Thunderbolt Siren, Nice video thought!
what about the aca hurricane?
@@CSXF40PH-2Productions nothing new yet
The freaking stop lights bro😭😭😭. You literally have EVERYTHING!!! That’s really amazing I know of almost none of those. Pretty soon you’ll have a wig wag and one of those locomotive styled bells. lol keep up the collecting! Very impressive what you have
@@vwbubs1170 I do have a wig wag!! Just need to get it up!! Still looking for one of those locomotive bells though.
@@TexasRailfan2008Nice that you have the wig wag! I have an old DW banner too! Definitely the rarest thing in my collection! For the locomotive bells look for one that says 990-1 on top
@@TexasRailfan2008 Sorry for being so vague I have lots more I want to say but TH-cam deletes it.
@@vwbubs1170 awesome!
That is AMAZING!
DANG YOUR LUCKY! IM SO ENVIOUS
I really want an aca hurricane
My first gen WCH sounds like the wrrs
Where’s the blower?
where is blower
I’ll get there soon enough
Great job!
I still exist! Though with a different name, nice still seeing you make videos! (:
awesome
NEW UPDATE ACA HURRICANE!?
Like I said, I’m not doing anything with it right now until I can get the signals out of the way
Nice update! Small correction, you have a PL-2 signal and PL-3 is the most common with the extension. PL-5 is the pedestal signals.
@@Pyth110 oh interesting. Thanks!! I was confused by the types lol. So that must make the “single headed” ground mounted dwarfs the PL4?
@@TexasRailfan2008 People call them PL-4s but as far as I know, there isn't any official documentation from US&S calling them PL-4s. Glad you're interested!
@ got it. Thanks for the info! Typical, the websites online ran by railfans are incorrect about minute details like this lol
Wow! Awesome stuff! Love the P5 and the Position light signal. Its kinda interesting with the P5s and R2s like always missing parts, hard to find any with all their parts still on em
@@SPRF_UPRF especially so in our area. I believe you live nearby. They weren’t used too much in this area so it wood make sense that they are almost all missing parts. P5s are common as dirt in Nevada/Wyoming area where the UP system has ruled for many years.
@@SPRF_UPRF although, this one did come from a seller up in Indiana, hard to say. I’m not sure if they were used up there often or not.
Yeah, cause I got my R2 from a guy in Morgan TX, like a 2 or 3 hour drive, as you know I didn't get any brackets, target or bulbs for it, but everything else was still in it, even the original wiring from when it was pulled from service.
@TexasRailfan2008 I'm also working on my own signal collection update video, since I've done some stuff since I last even made a video on my stuff LoL
@ Nice! Can’t wait!
Very cool old signal set up. Also, really neat old relays. It would be cool to see some of those in a separate video. Keep up the great work.
@@CalebWagner-xh8gn thanks! I’ll do some vids in the future going in depth on the relays
epic
Is this the garland tx Aca hurricane or one of the Greenville Texas ones? Or kistler park or Darien IL not the black roof mounted one the other one in Darien
@@Trey829 Greenville. Almost all of garlands units are long gone. Greenville’s were removed in 2022
Ok thanks for telling me did you get it off of a city auction?
@ not directly. Someone bought it at the city auction, then sold it to me the next day.
Nice how’s the blower doing?
@ well the blower is gone, I only have the motor and the cover/frame
that cool that your into street lights too
wow nice!
Nice streetlight, I love it
damn that looks so good
Would it be possible for you to record the audio output into a .mp3 format? One that wouldn’t use a microphone, but a line-in into your computer with the speaker output of the unit? I would love to get a clean audio of the vocabulary test.
@@aaronheine2828 I’ll see what I can do.
@ Thanks! I’m glad you have one preserved. I hope to get my hands on one someday to add to my small collection. These are super cool. Thank you very much for sharing a video of it running. And I hope to hear back from you! Cheers!
@ I actually have 2 of these now and another Devtonics unit.
@@TexasRailfan2008 That’s really cool! Save them from going to the landfill. I like the Harmon and STC talking detectors. I wish I had more connections on getting a hold of one. Hopefully someday I will.
That Rotator looks a lot more simple than I thought.
What happend to the dogde dealer hurricane?
@@Whydoimustcare_ that one went to SWS in Wisconsin. Mine Is the one that was by the P10
@@TexasRailfan2008 oh, i heard your hurricane blower is from the dogde dealer unit, is that true?
@ yes
@@TexasRailfan2008 so the dogde dealer hurricane doesnt have blower anymore?
@@TexasRailfan2008 and what happend to your hurricane original blower unit?
Good job!!!! Are you going to restore the whole siren?
@@TexanToilets yes
Congratulations friend!
YOOOOOOOOOO
fresh
God, I can't wait till you complete this thing man, amazing work!
Your rotator sprocket clutch is just as rusted up as ours was. Good job this is a huge step forward. Remind me again, do you have any of the blower components
@@JerryWick thanks. I have the blower motor but that’s it.
Glad to see it working!
Holy shit bro!!!!!!! You're really turning back time on this thing!!! Keep it up... What all do you still have to do on it?
@@peefiftee6060 order the potential relay for the chopper, paint the horn, blower cover, and control box, move the chicken coop, set two poles for the thunderbolt and hurricane, assemble the platforms on the poles and start the assembly. Also I will have to restore the thunderbolt but that is a low priority project as it won’t take much effort. I am planning on having two high powered electric leaf blowers in the Hurricaine’s blower cover, then running the 4m thunderbolt blower with a gasoline engine, and have them all piped together, so I can run both sirens off of any blower I want.
@@TexasRailfan2008 you sure two leafblowers are enough? iirc its more about pressure not airflow
@@TexasRailfan2008 maybe trying a 6m with the 6m blower using a smaller pulley might just be able to generate a shit ton of compressed air. Despite how federal did it with the thunderbolts by giving those a giant ass pulley while the motor had a small one.
i couldn't do something that good if i tried! i have the mental capability of a zucchini so i would fail. XD
lets goo thats awesome! the yellow is nice too!
That's amazing. I love the little growl sound it's making while it's rotating.
Woaaah! That’s amazing bro can’t wait for the final product
This is absolutely beautiful!
OMG! when will you have it fully assembled?
@@spanishFriedEggsOnTH-cam not sure. We have to move the chicken coop first
@@TexasRailfan2008 I can’t wait!
I am shocked by the progress!! Very brand new looking
that’s pretty cool. teepees?
@@coleaxelson8450 💀 yes teepees
Amazing!!
Congratulations!!!!! My friend saw this being removed back in 2023.
