The Cadillac XT6 Looks great, Has lots of Technology. Inside and out it Stands amongst the best of Luxury SUVs.
I just went and tested every vehicle in this class, for the wife, and she fell in love with the Cadillac. We’re 37 and never thought of buying a Cadillac, but this car won out for good reason. She now owns an XT6. Then I came to youtube and realized most car journalist are either biased or click merchants. This is a great car for the money. The only other that we liked was the Q7, but it was more expensive.
The XT6 is a great choice!

does the XT6 have a tow package & if so, how does rear pumper access for it?
Does the 3.6 motor have a better oil improvement, than the 3.6 that was in the 2007 srx. In that year the old motor burned a lot of oil.

Twin of the 3 row GMC Acadia, just different sheet metal with all the moving parts being the same just a lot more money

The shifter is horrible. It should be mandatory that all car manufacturers use the standard shift pattern of (prndl).

The cabin in the new XT6 is very quiet
I'm sure it is well dampened and much better NVH than the Chevy.
Where are the Oil Pressure and Alternator Gauges? Is there a rear wiper? Appears to be little storage for front seat passengers. Why the useless 'hole in the wall' which could be used for storage. No top of dash storage area? I like the spare tire stowage area. No decent armrests for rear passengers. My 2013 Acadia Denali seems to have more practical user features. Virtually no front bumper protection from those that park by ear. Is a 2" towing receiver included and associated lighting socket? Tail lights are not impressive for a Caddy.
I hope the next generation Escalade looks just like this one
The front grille is very similar but vertically longer. It looks really nice

Cadillac has forgotten it's roots & how it has lasted this long! They are getting complacent which will be there downfall if they don't get it together quickly! Competition is getting better and more committed!! Hyundai & Kia are stepping up their game Cadillac!! Snap out of it💤

The 2020 Lincoln Aviator puts this thing to shame. Cadillac has lost it’s edge.

The Lincoln looks nice, but the touch screen looks like an afterthought and ruins the look of the interior.

This is Lincoln's last ground ICE propelled vehicles, why not try to lay it all on the line?
The Expedition sales were at 76K last year while Tahoe was 104K, if that gives you any indication on how Lincoln is going to surpass Cadillac.
This is actually a glorified BLAZER RS Premium. Nice, but no more appealing than the ALL new KIA Telluride. Just $35,000 more!!!
Even if it could go down the same assembly line the difference in size is allot more than just rebadging it.
Do you think they took a Traverse/Enclave and just hack sawed the running rails for the shorter Blazer/XT6? The floor pan is different along with the supports for a smaller design to withstand roof load tests.
The obvious to the eye is the sheet metal of which none is shared. The XT6 will have some sort of adapticlve shock that the Traverse does not have so the susenpsinon geometry will change from the subframe down. The engine bay and supports are probably very similar unless there will be a 400 hp Vsport version. All of the suspension tuning will be different also.
That goes to the closer Acadia too....

HID LED headlights? You know those are two completely different things right? Anyways, I was really digging the styling, until you got inside. The interior is just not at the same level in terms of design and quality as the German, nor even the Japanese products. What's more, so many of the so called "new features" have been available on other vehicles for years now. Such a shame because they could do better.

Big disappointment. Pretty bland exterior and interior design. Not as attractive as a Chevy suv. Everybody check out the new Lincoln Aviator. Puts this to shame

I would not buy this vehicle for one main reason....The cheap plastic shifter....Test drove one.....The engine sounds like a sewing machine. Totally disappointed. Shame..

This will put that ugly Aviator to shame. Lincoln certainly lost is edge. Nothing beats a Cadillac for style.

PROBLEMS with Cadillac's "NEW" designs... 1.. GAS GAUGE.... No more sweeping style needle, now you get little tiny lights in a bar graph semicircle design. VERY HARD TO READ... JUNK. STOP IT. "Sweeping" needles are EASY TO READ "at a glance" I dont need to be taking my eyes off the road for extended periods of time searching for these little tiny lights. VERY ANNOYING...
2. NO WHERE on these NEW Cadillacs, is there a "CADILLAC" emblem... Hey... I just spent $75,000 or more on MY NEW CADILLAC.... S-P-E-L-L I-T O-U-T !! C-A-D-I-A-L-L-A-C !!!!
I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW IT... Behind me? "CADILLAC" on the tail... riding passenger? "CADILLAC" on the dashboard.. walking past my car in a parking lot..? "Oh wow, WHAT IS THIS.... LOOKS COOL...." Looking all over the car, you find NO NAME !!! Unless you have learn to read "AUTOMOTIVE BADGING" you have no idea what that car is... It might be a new Audi... or..? YOU JUST LOST A SALE... 3. and I want a nice sized ANALOG CLOCK on the dash board... ANALOG MEANS a clock with hands... EASY TO READ.. "AT A GLANCE"
I dont know who GM hires to work as car designers now, but the need to fire everyone and start over.... Start with people that actually LOVE CARS.
Horrible fake wood just like all GM vehicles! The plastic wood in my 2018 pathfinder looks better and that's not saying much.
