How can you add downloaded components to an existing library? For example, say I go to Ultra Librarian and download 5 parts, can I add them to one library?
Hi , when I import a footprint of resistor and capacitors from Ultra Librarian, the imported footprint symbol is not the same as original. It has a solid pink area. Can you please explain what is that area. Thanks a lot.
@@elektronika-fe1325 Thank you for your reply the 3D model is also present with another shaded pink area. This region is a solid pink area. If you take a look of capacitor footprint PCAP_16x25_PAN then you see it has two pink regions.
@@elektronika-fe1325 Hi, could you update the response to this, please? I know its over a year ago. I am having a similar issue and I don't know if it is safe to delete the solid pink area. because hiding the layer doesn't help. Thanks.
This is the best tutorial. I couldn't figure out how to do this using Ultra Librarian's instructions, so thanks for the great walkthrough!
Thanks for the excellent tutorial! Clear, easy to follow, and to the point. Well done.

Thanks - your process worked with AD 20.2.6 when the import process from the Ultra Librarian website only created error messages!

I think you cant do it in straight forward manner. But you can always copy the components to one common library later.

That solid pink area is usually the representation of a 3D model in 2D view.
